This time its on!
Second time around!
Yeah, girls out of my life, and I'm putting keto back in. I started monday, and I'm gonna give it 12 weeks, take 2 weeks off, and depending on the results, either get back on keto, or try a different diet.
My daily calories are 2100, which is -750 of my maint, and is supposed to give me 1.5lbs of weight loss per week. I take in 2200 cals on workout days, and 1950 on off days.
Starting stats are:
Waist 39.5
Weight 196
Height 6'0 (not that it matters)
I'll be updating weekly. 4 days of weight lifting, and 3 days of cardio, no "rest" day, cardio is low intensity so nothing getting in the way of recovery.
Monday- Biceps/Triceps
Tuesday- Shoulders/Traps
Wednesday- 30 min Low intensity cardio
Thursday- 30 min low intensity cardio
Friday- Legs
Saturday-Chest/Back
Sunday- 1Hr low intensity cardio (After second week carb up)
Carb up starts next week.

Diet is:
On non workout days: 145g fat, 150g protien.
On workout days: 170g Fat, 150g Protien.
1g protien per 1lb of lean body mass.

Foods for the next 12 weeks include:
Cheese all types (Mozarella my favorite)
Avocados
Flax Meal
Chicken Thighs/Breast (Carb up)
Eggs
Smart Balance Light (Omegas, and good taste)
Buttermilk Ranch
Heavy Cream

Supplements first 6 weeks:
Fish oil
Green Tea
Zinc
Metatonin

when you say 2 weeks off what exactly are you planning on doing? including carbs? eating at maintenance? time off lifting also?
i'm just curious because i think im due for a break from training at least, if not the diet also.

I think hes talking about a Lyle McDonald style diet break. Its where you eat maintainence, while eating at least 100g carbs a day. I'm pretty sure it also only includes one full body workout each week, designed to maintain muscle.
Good luck man, part of my motivation is to be able to pick up girls. Not even so much pick them up as be desirable to them, so I can have my choice :)
Keep me posted as well, It'll be interesting to see how we progress, we're similar in size and caloric intake. Well I'm 4 inches shorter but still...lol

lol, yes, but we've got the same bodyfat percentage.
Yes, by 2 weeks off I'll be doing 1 workout day a week, and on that day, I will do 2 exercises per body parts. I wont be re-introducing carbs back yet, I'm just going to eat maint-above main keto, except the sauces on meat if I go out with friends and such. This is just to trick my body, and boost my metabolism.
I actually did that recently, did a 2 week above maint, ate every hour, even hit the buffet up on sunday (explains the 1.5 increase of waist) but the muscle I gained during the 2 weeks is incredible, I didn't even think it was possible.

Anyway, first week on keto results:

Weight- 198
Waist 39.5
Hip- 21 1/2
Today:
Weight- 193
Waist: 38.60

I always do this, once I start a diet, I always loose an inch on the waist for watching my calories, then it stays that way for awhile. Lets hope its different this time =)

Wow..seems like its bouncing up and down, I just don't get it..maybe keto just isn't for me, I hate cutting, my sex drive is at -100.

Maybe Ill just do smaller carb ups or something, instead of larger ones, and being that I'm never in "Ketosis" according to sticks, I may just do an alternate version of keto, where I intake p/wo carbs after each workout and reduce the carb count on "Carb up". See if that would work.

yeah, figured stone cold made a point, weather I pick CKd or TKD, either is better than the traditional 40/40/20.
So TKD starting monday, and will make it an 8 week log.
