Hey I Bought tons of Protein bars! Different kinds.. but I have no idea when to eat them? I used to think you just ate them as a meal replacement whenever you wanted but it some peolple say you have to eat them according to work out time?! When do i eat them? B4 workout.. after workout? not even close to workout? please help!

1 in the morning and 1 after workout.

Bars are merely "candy" disguised as protein. As far as post-workout, No way. You should use a whey-based protein post-workout along with a simple carbohydrate, something fast acting. Definitely not a bar. If you MUST eat them, use them only when needed, like on the run or something, not as a staple of your diet.

Buffyd is correct. Protein bars are assimilated in the exact way as a candy bar. Have a Snickers. Same nutritional value. I have clients drink a mixture of Muscle Mile and BCAA's before and after a W/O. I hope this has helped!
