I having been helping my mom loose weight for a while now (40+ pounds so far). She has hit a road block she can't seem to loose anymore weight. I have tried adjusting her cals, sups, more lifting less lifting, more cardio less cardio, having her over eat for a couple days. In other words everything I could think of to help her start loosing weight again. I have ran out of ideas. She is on a KD. Any ideas on how to help her. She is 49 if that changes anything.

Glad to hear you are keeping her away from the diet pills :)
How much does your mom weigh? It may be that she has simply reached her body's "set point", and as a result, the body resists losing anymore weight.
Alternatively, at 49, she is going through a lot of hormonal changes that can affect weight loss.
I would recommend you get her to write down absolutely everything she eats.... a bite here and a bite there of treats or even larger meals, can really add up and she may be eating a lot more than she tells you she is (she may not even realise).

She is about 5'7'' 180. I will have her write it all down for a week. Thanks.

If she has internet access she can sign up at www.fitday.com to keep track of what she eats. It's a great free site for breaking it down for you as far as calories, carbs, proteins and fats.
