Well I'm 17 years old and weigh in at 225 lbs. I've been working out for a year and a half. heres my stats

bench press: 300lbs
squat: 405lbs
deadlift: 315lbs

I've seen alot of people my age doing half of what I am doing. Am I freakish or something?

i am teaching a class now of 14 year olds, a student is 315 lbs, and benches that for reps...are you freakish? not necessarily, but strong for 17.

strong for 17 ...

but you weigh 225 ....

if you lifted those weights at a lean 185 :D that would be impressive !

my maxes are close to yours ...but i cant bench 300 or squat 4 plates a side ...
Your deadlift is weak, i suggest you work on it.

FREAK? Not at all bro. In fact not close. I was 170lbs in high school and had a bench of 365lbs as a 17 year old senior. I also benched 315 at 160lbs at 16 years old. I just did 465lbs at 240lbs bodyweight and am not by any means a freak and that's almost a 2.0 ratio. In fact, my training partner, only lifted 4 years weighs 195 and can do 405lbs on the bench.

Also, dude said the kid weighed 315 also. Doing your bodyweight for reps is not impressive in the least bit. Show me a person with a bench ratio over 2.0 and they are strong.
