Day 1

Workout: 20mins HIIT including warm up and cool down - 10 intervals with 9.0mph sprints

Diet:
Breakfast: 1 egg and 1 egg white, ww english muffin with cream cheese, shake with milk, oats and pp
Lunch: chicken breast pita with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, pickles, cheddar cheese, chipotle sauce
Preworkout: hummus dip and flatbread chips, Purple Wraath
Postworkout: Protein shot
Supper: Sheppards Pie (lean ground beef, mushrooms, cream corn, potatoes)

Calories: 2108
Protein: 166g
Carbs: 207g
Fat: 72g

First Impression of Purple Wraath
Taste was very sweet, like candy. I mixed it with 20oz of water. It was kind of like a little sinful treat! Mixing was not so good at first, there were particles in the cup, but I let it sit for a bit, and while sipping I shook the cup from time to time and by the time I got to the bottom, everything was dissolved. I felt a tingling sensation in my lips and hands (they felt itchy). But the feeling did not last that long.

Notes
Workout today seemed much easier than previous. Many times when doing HIIT I have a hard time catching my breath in between sprinting, and near the end of my session I sometimes feel like I'm going to vomit, or I get lightheaded. Today I felt more relaxed, almost as if I wasn't sprinting as fast as I was. My rest periods in between were more calm, I wasn't panting and I overall felt great. I don't know if this is a result from the Purple Wraath or if I have just become more conditioned, but this workout was great! I almost wanted to go for a longer time.

Notes
I'm feeling very tired today. I tossed and turned last night, so my sleep was off. Once I got home I had my preworkout shake, and then started consuming my Purple Wraath drink. I drank most of it during my workout. Once I got to cardio, I felt bloated, but I carried on. I'm thinking I will need to space out my preworkout shake and the Purple Wraath a bit next time. Weights were ok. No increases from last time, but felt strong and focused. I did notice that I was taking less time in between sets then normal though. I did not want to do cardio at all today, but I forced myself. Was okay. Again I was tired though, so I was glad when it was finished.

Notes
Still feeling tired today, but my chest isn't too sore from yesterday's workout. We'll see how it is tomorrow, usually hits me two days later. I had a nap today when I got home, for an hour, then took two gulps of Endorush and downed my Purple Wraath, and felt great during my cardio. No panting, recovery was great in between my sprints. Thought about increasing the speed, but decided to add two extra intervals instead.

Well... all Canadians say "eh". Eastern Canadians (esp. people from Nova Scotia and NFLD) have the other characteristics (the "aboot" and "oat").

Quebec is French. New Brunswick is bilingual. The government is bilingual, BUT the other provinces are English.

Squats were good tonight. concentrated on going as low as I could while keeping my back straight. I feel like I can do more weight, but I'm a bit nervous that my form will stray. Once I got to the lunges, wow, did my quads ever get tight. I NEVER feel my quads while working out legs, but they just kept getting tighter and tighter, but I pushed through it. My leg workout usually drains me and I get major DOMS two days later, so we'll see how I feel come Saturday.
My chest is not sore at all, had a bit of tightness since my workout, but no DOMS, and I usually do get very tender. I'm impressed. I really hope I'm gaining strength, and I will be able to up my weights soon. :)

Notes
Once I got myself out of bed and in the mode to workout, I felt strong. I pretty much sipped my Purple Wraath throughout the workout. I did however take it easy today because I was just at the chiropractor last night for an adjustment, and I'm still tender today. I have a curve in my spine that causes pain in my upper back, so after getting adjusted, my muscles get sore and tender, so I didn't want to do any harm or reverse the effects of my adjustment by lifting heavy. But I do feel that I could have added more weights to my barbell rows and increased my reps on the dumbell rows. Will aim for higher next workout. :D

Even with my shoulders.. I just grab the bar naturally.. no thought. I lean forward at 45 degrees as well. I had tried it before last week, but went too heavy and didn't feel it in my lats. Lightening up the weight and concentrating on using lats over biceps fixed that.

So, yesterday I was in a nutrition store, Herc's, and we were just looking around, checking out what they had. It's a small store, but the guy that works there knows his stuff, and he's cut. So while I was looking around, I found some bottles of Controlled Labs Black Hole. sweet! So I told the owner that I was a tester for Purple Wraath, and that it's really good stuff, he asked me about it and I said, well I don't think it's available in Canada, you have to order it from the US, as of right now, but he said he was going to look into it and see if he can stock his shelves with some.

I'm so excited. If I can get him to start selling it, then I have somewhere local to buy it!

Do you think a small store like this would be able to have the opportunity to sell more Controlled Labs Products? Maybe I could send him a link to the website.

It was sweet too, the guy gave us free samples of some stuff. My fiance got samples of BSN True-Mass and I got Allmax Nutrition Rapid Cuts. I should probably wait to try those right? Don't want it to interfere with my Purple Wraath testing.

Not looking so good today!!!

Notes
Felt okay this morning, still feeling the tingles from the Purple Wraath. Had to skip an interval today though as I think I had to much liquid in my stomach, so felt sort of nauseous. Also feeling stuffy, I think it's allergies, so makes it hard to breathe when running, chest was feeling heavy.
Legs are feeling much better, didn't have extreme DOMS like last week. Recovered quite well actually. They are still a bit sore and tight, but i'm not hobbling around, so that's good!

Off to enjoy the sunshine

I was going to do that today, but didn't. I will try that tomorrow. I'm finding as well that I'm thirsty more when after I use the Purple Wraath, so while running, I have to only take small sips or I get all sloshy inside! haha.

Notes
Workout felt solid. My 15lb increase in chest press is just an estimate as I used my new olympic bar instead of the smaller bar that I used to. I'm not sure how much the smaller bar weighs, but I would put 30lbs on it, so it could be a 10lb bar or so, so my increase wouldn't really be 15lbs. (you do count in the 45lb bar in your weights right?) I also noticed that I didn't take very long breaks in between sets and I felt more awake today. I didn't do cardio today though, it was getting late and I still need to make supper, so I'll try and throw in an extra day this week sometime.
Diet is in check today, but the remainder of the week will be tough, I"m starting to get the salt cravings, it's that TOM coming up so I need to resist these temptations! sorry if that's TMI boys! :D

I usually get sick really fast and it hits me hard, but I'm usually over it really fast too, so hopefully my immune system is up for the challenge as I don't want to take more time off. My next goal to reach is by June 9th, so that's about a month away. Not much time!

I'm starting to get stressed though. My wedding is in less that 6 months and there is so much to do, and I'm having a hard time managing my time with working out, planning the wedding and the regular stuff such as cleaning the house, or yard work or whatever. I need to find a routine. I have been reading about the Yellow nEuphoria and wondering if it would be right for me. So, if anyone has any advice or has had good experience they would like to share with me, that would be greatly appreciated!

Notes
I did not want to work out at all today, I wanted to be outside in the nice weather instead, but I forced myself. HIIT felt quite easy today, so I think next week I will up my speed, but lower my number of intervals. Diet today was off. When I got up this morning I felt nauseous, so I didn't have my typical shake for breakfast, so I took the english muffin to work with me and ate it later. Also, had to leave work for a dentist appointment, so I missed my typical snack of an apple and almonds, so I decided to add the pasta to supper to up my calories a bit.

Notes
Well, I was very tired today, so I decided to take a caffeine pill on the way home from work, and to top it off, I used two scoops of Purple Wraath. Squats went very well, but I did hurt my shoulder in the process. I use one of those bar pads and while doing squats, it slipped and the bar rolled back, so, obviously I used my shoulder to hold it up, it's my shoulder that's always bothered me, so it's a little sore right now, I hope it's not too bad though. I was still able to finish my workout and I felt strong today! Also, it was my first time doing lunges with a barbell, so it was a weird feeling, so I did less sets and reps then I would normally, so I think it will take a while for me to get used to these.

Workout

22 mins of HIIT with 12 intervals @ 9.5mph

**my workout was interrupted after 3 intervals though as my girlfriend stopped by to talk about wedding stuff, but after she left, I finished the remaining 9. I think if I would have continued without an interruption, I wouldn't have been able to do all 12 intervals.

Diet
Breakfast: shake with whey pp, milk, OJ, strawberries,
Snack: yogurt & banana
Lunch: chicken stir fry with lots of veggies & thai sauce
Snack: almonds & apple
2 scoops Purple wraath with 20oz H2O
Postworkout: whey pp & H2O
Supper: chicken thighs and tomato slices
Snack: Strawberries and sour cream dip

Protein: 165g
Carbs: 186g
Fat: 58g
**this did not include my thai sauce as I have no idea how many calories are in it.

Notes
Well, workout was okay, except it was interrupted, but oh well. I increased my speed from the last time I did HIIT, so I think I'll stay at this speed for a little while until I get used to it again. I've also upped my scoops of Purple Wraath, and I'm getting crazy tingles now. I figure on leg days and HIIT days, 2 scoops does the trick!

we are just getting married here at home, in the church, and having a reception at a golf course. I always wanted your standard typical wedding, but now, when I"m doing all of this work and spending all of this money, I think a destination wedding would be MUCH easier, and cheaper too! And I wouldn't have to worry about inviting my third cousin, or whatever, because most of them wouldn't be able to afford it anyways, or be able to get off work. but I'm sure when the day comes things will be fine and it will be the best day ever. :)

But we are going somewhere warm for our honeymoon. Not Mexico, as it seems as Canadians have bad luck down there, but perhaps the Dominican or maybe Europe. :D

NO! Getting married is dumb, IMO. If you love someone, then you love them, no need to go through all that BS. If you have ever seen The Last Kiss (with Zach Braff), the way he feels about marriage is the way I have been preaching since as long as I can remember.

Diet

Breakfast: shake with milk, oats, pp
Preworkout: 2 scoops Purple Wraath in 20oz H20

**will edit in the remainder later**

Notes
It took a lot of work to get my butt downstairs this morning to work out, I was tired this morning and wasn't feeling my best. I was dehydrated, didn't drink much water yesterday, and my diet yesterday was the worst! So I think that played a huge role in my sluggishness this morning. During my cardio, I got a huge cramp in my right trap muscle, so I had to skip an interval just to let that rest. I must really tense up my upper back when sprinting! HOWEVER, I had barely no DOMS yesterday from Thursday's leg workout!!! (it usually hits me two days after and I'm limping and my legs get so tight and sore). I bet I could have done some cardio yesterday, that's how well my legs were! I couldn't believe it!

Felt very strong today, so decided to try the barbell shoulder press. I like it! I think it will take me awhile to up my weight though. My shoulders seem weak, I can't lift much weight with them without messing up my form.

I received my samples of White Flood, Green Mag and Purple Wraath that I'm going to give to my fiance. Thanks again CL! I'm hoping he will like them and switch over to CL products since it's a great company with decent prices! He tried the White Flood today, and didn't like the taste too much, said it was sweet, I thought it was alright, not to strong. Within a few minutes he could feel the affects of it, so he started working out. Did some bicep curls and helped me with my barbell shoulder press. Half way through his workout he feels his bowls move, and has to run to the bathroom, says he barely made it! haha has anyone else experienced this? He does have a weak stomach...

So once that passed, he continues working out, and I ask him how he feels, he says, I feel like I"m doing this....**picture him with his arms out turning around** I think that meant he felt like he was floating....I have no idea...haha

He said his pump felt pretty good.

Also, we ordered from bb.com today, and I ordered my Yellow nEuphoria and Red Acid! I cannot wait for them to come in. It won't be for a while though I'm sure, with the holiday coming up this Monday, but it would be great if I could get it before the end of next week. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

he doesn't drink coffee, but that might be it. Energy drinks like rockstar, or red bull do it to him, and sometimes even coke. It's gotta be the stims like the caffeine.

Do you think he'd ever get used to it?

I did it!! I got in the 12th interval! I didn't have any water during my workout, as I find when I drink, even just a little sip, it ruins my rest period and perhaps that's why I get out of breath easily. But I chugged my water during my cool down! It's so hot here today, so I was sweating up a storm. Time to get out my booty shorts for cardio I think. haha

Workout was good, felt really good today. I had an energy drink before hand because I was feeling sluggish. Tried a few new exercises, front squats and hack squats. I went light on the weight because it was my first time. I could really feel the front squats in my quads. It was awkward holding the bar though, I will need to come up with a better way if I want to add more weight.

Well, I have no idea what my diet was like today. For breakfast I had cottage cheese and SF jam, an english muffin and cream cheese. For lunch I had some snack foods with dips. I went to this party that is all about spices and dips and sauces, so it was sampling all over the place, it was quite fun actually. I bought a whole bunch of dips, to add to my collection of course!

Supper tonight is ribs and fries. Ribs on the bbq, smoked, mmmmm. Fries, baked.

So my day wasn't as clean as it should have been, but what can you do? I think I worked hard enough this past week to deserve a treat :)

Sometimes customs keeps it for a week or two.. depends on their backlog. That's why UPS is so much faster (but with UPS you have to pay duties unless the company has a special arrangement).
