what the hell is up with Shawn Ray. I was looking at the IFBB Rankings and noticed he is ranked #20. the guy hasn't competed since the 2001 Mr. Olympia. how come he hasn't been competing. is he ever going to return to competition.

I'd say yeah he's done but he won't say that because he wants to keep collecting a paycheck from Weider. He got married and wants to make babies last I heard.

yup, there was an article about this on the main page. there is no reason for shawn to be doing that, HE FRIGGIN LOADED!

Shawn might not be the biggest IFBB pro...but he nevers comes to a show "off" he is always bang on....each time....because he isnt a "mass monster" he doesnt place as well as he should IMO>..

I'm usually a fan of the mass monsters like Gunter and Dorian, but Shawn has an extremely aesthetic physique. Everyone knows I really love the short guys's physiques too :D Colombu, Padilla, Ray and Priest are all at the top of my list.
Shawn - What do you weigh now? How tall are you actually?

I would guess Shawn is about 5'7..i was alittle taller then him when i met him in 2000...i was 210 lbs then...i dont know how big he was..i would guess 230ish...and he looked ****ing huge

Awesome. I guess he's my same height then. Actually, I remeasured yesterday and I'm more like 5'6":( But damn, 5'7" @ 230 is fuc king huge! SHOT, do you have any pics? I've heard that you're huge but you only post pics up for a few moments and then take them back down.

that pic of shawn- it looks funny how his stomach is sucked in- it totally distracts from what someone should look like. the rib cage is stuck out in nowhere land almost looking like a lower pec muscle.

Great Pic, one of the best vacuums I've seen in a while doesn't look like he put muscles on a beach ball lol.
O/T you think bodybuilding will ever go back to a symmetrical build with guys competing with realistic physiques instead of these mass monsters who look like he-man dolls?
