Start out by writing down EVERYTHING that goes in your mouth for a week. What time you eat, when you drink, what you eat and drink. Like I said EVERYTHING. Then get a good book that breaks down all foods into protein, fat, and carbs. Most bodybuilders try to keep their fat intake at no more than 20% of their daily intake. You want protein to be at least equal to your carb intake and ideally (unless you have a medical reason) to be more than your carb intake. Your ideal diet should look something like this. 40% protein 40% carbs and 20% fat. You want lean sources of protein. You want complex carbs. and you will crave more fat than 20%! Be patient, your body did not get this way in one week, nor will it change into instant MS Olympia overnight either. Be persistant and it will pay off.
