I do have alot of wt. thank god I am on the 1st floor because If I wasn,t I would be !
I am seriously jealous - I want the home gym more than anything - I figure for little over the cost of what I have paid in gym membership over the last 2 1/2 years I could get everything I need.
power rack
incline/flat/decline bench
dip attachment
leg ext. attachment
trap bar
t-bar row handle
Damn with that I could do every exercise I want whenever I want, all I have to do is persuade my dad to take his car out of the garage and let me use it.
Looking at your pics really got me thinking about it!

Thanks D&G . It only took a couple of years to have a home gym of quality equipment . I just brought a little here and a little there!I always loved to train at home because I can really concentrate and get as pyscho as I want ! Ya I would see if your dad would go for it. Sounds like a damn good plan ! more pics to come !

I just love the gym atmosphere, I wouldnt wanna train at home, but thats me.

training at home means:
no distractions
no waiting for equipment
train whenever you like
no bad background music
no travelling to/from gym
get post workout nutrition quickly
unfortunately my garage does not have a high enogh roof for a power rack to fit in it :(

D&G you named the best perks for having your own home gym ! Those are def. some of the reasons I like to train at home ! That sucks about the garage . You can always save up D&G . When you have your own pad . You can have that home gym you always wanted. It would only be a matter of time Iron Brother !

Yes, you can do leg presses and do hack squats . It is a parabody product . I brought it back in 1995 for $950.00 . They have them now where the weight is under the machine . Saves you alot of space .

I have a future wife lined up so the home gym is on the list when we get a place together. I mailed the company and according to them it would fit (I have about 82" height and it is 80") only prob is I would not be able to get a lat attachment for it (83") and I probably wouldn't be able to use if for pull-ups.

Cool sounds like you got some things lined up ! There's nothing better than having your own gym in your own pad . You got so many more options like you posted above ! Damn that thing almost fits . I ran into the same problem a few years back and boy did that piss me off. I didn't measure the damn thing and it wouldn't fit . I had to put every thing in the garage where we lived then . At least you were smart enough to measure it not like my dumb ass.*LoL* That was a hard lesson !!
Yeah, I was having all these great thoughts how cool it would be, how much cash I would save and then I looked at the garage and looked at the pics and I knew it would be close heightwise. After sticking down some carpeting I don't think there would be enough space left. I would not bother going for the home gym thing without a power rack as I think that is essential.
