First of all, they manufacture it here and talking to the sales person, I got the whole thing for $400 including all the attachments. First of all, it's good. Can't replace free weights, but it's a really good machine.

First off, the bench press that it has isolates the pecs so much. I mean, just after a few reps, my pecs start burning like mad! My chest grew 1.5 inches in 7 weeks. The feel is good. All the other exercises also work well.

Here is my training schedule:

For mass - One week free weights and a few days Bowflex (as it confuses the hell of my muscles forcing them to grow)

Cutting - Bowflex

if you're using it to supplement martial arts, then yes it's good. If you are trying to get big, well... it won't take you a long ways down that road.

I'm not really using it by itself. I have a nice freeweight set. The Bowflex is basically the only thing that can isolate my pecs.

Bow Flex is good, if you have a full gym also.........
cause alone, it sucks.

If you have a freeweight set up as well, bowflex makes a cheap and efficient replacement for a cable crossover machine.

Would using a machine like Bow Flex or the Total Gym be good to use with your work out? I think my dad bought a cheap rip off of the Total Gym, pretty much the same thing only a lot cheaper. I'm just wondering what exercises would be good to do on it?

The bench press is really good on it and with the squat attachment, I can do some squat jumps (squats where you jump) without fear of really getting hurt. Their LAT pulldown is much better than the machines at the gym and their bicep curls really confuse your muscles. I do some bench presses, flies, squat jumps, LAT pulldowns, wrist curls, sholder presses on the Bowflex. Really good for $400.
