how often should i switch my routines? should i switch the whole routine or for example replace incline dumbell presses with decline bench?

well if ur current rountine is still working for you there is no need to change it...
i think the only time you should change routines is if you start platueuing

i usually change my routine every 4-6 weeks and if it has been working for 6 weeks straight i still usually change it, but i'll come back to it if the other doesn't b/c u could always end up having quicker progress that way rather than start making slow gains until they stop...just my opinion though its really up to you
