Hey guys n' gals,

I'm currently attending UC Irvine, located in the Orange County area. I'm 18 5'10" 210lbs (@ 21% bf, in the process of cutting to 11% now), been lifting for about a year and a half. Just thought I'd see if any of you forum memebers are located in the area, looking for a lifting partner, age and gender are not as important as dedication and reliability. Once I am finished cutting I plan on going on an all out mass building regime. My workout schedule as of now is a 5day split, each workout is about an hour at most. Just leave a response if you wanna know more :)

Daaaamn Phil,

You're a big fella. Maybe I should change my name to LilCasino when talking to you ;)

290 now? So you cutting right now, or ya gonna start cutting? I've been dieting for a few weeks now, lost 12lbs, but my bf percentage hasn't dropped much, so I guess I lost a lot of water weight :( Hopefully the fat will start falling off soon, I am really anxious to get back to growing. I know what you mean about the fast foods though, I started out with a relatively clean bulk, and then I just started to slip, eating @ Wendy's and Jack in the Box a lil too often, and that is how I ended up with that 21%bf :( Well if you ever want to get together for some cardio or lifting lemme know, I got some guest passes for our University gym.

Coolness.....Yeah right now i'm cutting, good days i'm hitting 2000 calories, today i'm only hitting 1300 but still ultra high protien and decent carbs. No sugars, and i spread my meals to about 8 a day.

I've lost alot of my big power but my muscles are slowly remembering again. In the past few weeks i have dropped about 5 pounds of fat and gained some muscle. When i get down to 255ish and 12% i'm definitely gonna hit the high weights again and get massive again. A few years back when i was lifting hard i was able to put on 45lbs of muscle in less than a year, that was on a 5000 calorie diet and maxing every other day. FUN stuff

woot just checked the scale and i'm down another 1% of bf from 5 days ago

took a measurement after lifting right now
18" bicept flexed, fatty arms right now

Only 1300 cals?

Even for a cutting diet that is pretty low for your size. I am keeping mine around 1700, gonna keep lowering it gradually. I've lost a LOT of strength so far, even though I am consuming 1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight, and taking lots of glutamine, I guess my body is very dependent on food for power.

Any tips for loosing fat AND gaining muscle at the same time?
Any supps you taking?

i took rapid thermal fat burners , they work pretty good but im trying to stay off the stimulants for a while. mostly to loose weight quick u just keep low cal intake, high protien and lift light weights and high reps. for my bodytype and metabolism i burn over 4000 a day, so with only eating sub 2000 and lots of cla/protien the bodyfat seems to roll off

food has alot to do with the power, when i was lifting hard and curling high amounts and benching 300+ i ate about 5000 calories a day and felt strong all the time

on my pda, forgive my grammer

I started taking some creatine as soon as I started cutting, just to try and keep my strength somewhat respectable, it helped a lil bit, but normally I use it for bulking.

I've been doing HIIT cardio 3-4 times a week, like 15 min and each min I will go 30seconds 75% max 30seconds 95% max on a stationary bike. I tried runing but my calves hate it, I get what I think is called a shinsplint?? Feels like a pain underneath the muscle / bone in my calves. What you do for cardio?

i dont do as much cardio as i should really, i hate running , especially with my big frame

but i get by with just high rep lifting

I workout at a place called Synergy, just south of the Spectrum. Its a much better enviornment to workout. Bodybuilders, power lifters, etc. Less of the OC beach muscle crowd
