You're so beautiful cheryl if you focus on your shoulders and abs a little bit you'll have a perfect shape I think.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Those are my hardest areas, of course I'm sure for every woman and some men, they are also. I train arms twice a week, and usually incorporate stability/core and abs into my daily workouts. I try not to go to heavy with legs, light weights, high reps...I usually run or do the elliptical trainer on my leg days. Do you have any suggestions, or things that work for you? Thanks :)

Why don't you go heavy with your weights? Heavy weights are the thing that will really change your shape and give you some decent muscle.

First of all, you look great...nice work. Keep it up.

Second, I second the heavier wieghts suggestion. Females are not equipped to build huge amounts of muscle, so you are not going to turn into a man if you lift heavy(like I hear some girls talking about...lol). Try doing some squats and deadlifts with your routine and dont be scared to add weight to them. It will help put on a little muscle and will bring everything out nicely. You have a great frame for this sport, so its just amtter of adding to it a little. Squats and deads are not only great mass builders, but they will help you with that core as well...as you rely heavily on them to stabilize. Also, throw some supersets, compound sets and drop sets into the routine...your body will be shocked by the new assualt that you are throwing at it and will respond, no doubt.

If you are having issues building the shoulders, try this one:
SUperset Arnold presses with lateral raises. A lot of people do these 2 exercises, but I rarely see people use them in superset fashion. It will put a fantastic burn into those delts.

Keep it up!

Sean

ehh, yeah, i don't know very much about figure competing (since i'm a guy) but i don't think that girls have the genetics to build huge legs, so yeah, go heavy, with lower reps...

and if for nothing else... do it for experimentation

see how your legs looked before and after, then determine what works better for you personally

Cheryl,

First you are a natural beauty. You have put in some good hard for those results.

As for adding muscle that just comes with time. Muscle maturity takes consistency and hard work. Train with moderate to heavy weight during the offseason to add size. I'm sure you have a trainer, so they can tell you how to work on the V-taper. Woman should work on broadening the shoulder and hips/thighs to create the look of a smaller waist. Also avoid too much oblique work.

Good luck

Man, I don't see a need for the addition of muscle. I think she looks great as is. Abs?? Her stomach is flat for goodness sake. I hate a women with ripped abs, it's looks disgusting.

I like her just the way she is...not too soft, and not too hard.
