Hey guys and gals. Like most people I assume, I get bored sometimes doing cardio and/or like to dwell on other things during a painful high-intensity session on the treadmill. I find it helpful to have some thoughts or sayings to keep my mind on. Some of you have some neat sayings in your sigs I've seen, others may have some floating around in their head. Let's hear them.
Here's a list to get this started (some of these have more of a military viewpoint):

Don't have a hero. Look up to no one. Because if someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

"There is no accident. No shortcut. No easy way out. There's only one thing you can't bottle or stick in your ass. It's a work ethic. Blood, guts and hard work are my main tools. Rage and anger is what fuels my intensity. Muhammad Ali once said there is no shame in going down. The only shame is if you don't get back up."

There are no limits except those I choose to accept.

The difference between combat and sports is that in combat you bury the guy that comes in second." Unidentified Navy SEAL

Somewhere out there right now someone is preparing for the day you both shall meet, how prepared will you be"

The fighter is to be always single-minded with one object in view: to fight, looking neither backward nor sidewise. To go straight forward in order to crush the enemy is all that is necessary for him."

"When young men seek to be like you, when lazy men resent you, when powerful
men look over their shoulder at you, when cowardly men plot behind your
back, when corrupt men wish you were gone and evil men want you dead . . .
Only then will you have done your share."

"Most fights are lost at the emotional level".

Talent alone won't make you a success. Neither will being in the right place at the right time, unless you are ready. The most important question is: 'Are your ready?'"

You can live 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, 3 minutes without air - but you won't last 3 seconds without the will to survive."

Take arrows in your forehead, but never in your back.

Train Hard for the Day Will Come!!!

Never start a fight - always finish one."

You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now.

This too shall pass…

Any more come to mind???
