I'm an average size for a man. As a matter of fact, demonstrating at the Arnold Classic certain feats of strength such as a Clean to Hand Balancing the 45LBS clubbell seemed to be more of a strength oddity for the larger-than-life beefcake brigade who couldn't even lift the Bruiser. Does size mattter?

Interesting about the bridges damaging the neck, but I don't like how the new exercises he gives look.

That article was the best ever written on joint mobility and I've read about all of them. After 25 years of competitive strength training, I know that the difference between the big men and the little is joint health. Especially the neck.
Coach Sonnen's way ahead of his time, and I'll be following this man's impact on the strength scene. Hell, if Dave Draper gives this fight coach the personal thumb's up, then I'm listening. Dave never endorses anyone or anything.

I'm trying to figure out what Coach Sonnon invented. And from that picture he looks like maybe he's a 'pencil neck'. Some of those positions look like someone doing some cut 'scripts' from Brokeback Mountain.

let's see: he's an international champion in 2 martial arts, holds two world records, is the coach of UFC champions like heavyweight champ Andrey Arlovski, Elvis Sinosic and Egan Inoue, and a former USA national coach of two different martial arts. i'm pretty sure he knows more than you do.

This neck exercise is ridiculous. It's the last exercise you'll need, because it will kill half the users.
Sonnon needs to stop wearing clothes that are 3 sizes too small and stop playing with his magic clubs. They are over-priced and useless.

I don't see any factual research or examples of nose bridging causing neck problems for people. I think that article, while backed by a lot of scientific jargon, is his own theory. I don't see how bridging can be any more harmful than the exercise he proposes. Just my personal opinion. Maybe it's true, but maybe not. Some actual cases showing that some people that did a lot of bridging ended up with bad necks might help to prove his case. But he didn't provide that type of information. Does he have any kind of Physical Science or Anatomy education? It doesn't say on his page, so how do I know his information is trustworthy?
im with cheif ... i like the idea of mixing yoga/relative strength/bodyweight/joint health exercises in with powerlifting, but he didn't present a good argument against bridging at all.
