Start Your New Year...Now!

Well, the holidays are fast approaching us and before we know it,
2004 will be here.
And so will most peoples' love/hate relationship with New Year's Resolutions.
You know, "those" people that decide, once and for all, to finally get in shape "this year".
And after about 2 weeks into the New Year, those people are never to be found again.
Most bodybuilders love the sport and training far too much to fall into this categorie.
But what if you ARE a member of the "I'll wait till the New Year"
crowd?
Well, I'm challenging you to do something different this year:
Start Your New Year's Resolutions NOW!
That way, when the rest of the world is hesitantly crawling to the gym, half psyched-out because of the pain they're about to endure....
You'll already be working towards the best shape of your life!
In fact, if you start now and focus on the "right" way to train
and eat, you can be well on your way to achieving your best body ever by the first of the year.
In fact, if you truly do have the drive and motivation to succeed at bodybuilding or getting in shape, I highly doubt you'd even want to wait anyways.
I really try to stress to clients that getting in the best shape of your life is based upon 2 things:
1. What you do
2. How you do it.
That's it.
And, much like a mathematical formula that has an absolute certain outcome, getting in the best shape of your life can almost be approached with the same certainty.
Because as I've learned through my own training as well
as training clients, fitness has a cause and effect relationship.
It's dependent on:
1. Knowing the right approach to cardio, weight
training, and nutrition
2. And then taking action towards them.
Of course there are other variables, like your effort, intensity, age, genetics, etc...
But for the most part, it really boils down to:
***Knowing what to do
***Taking action and doing it.
Now it's up to you to take the action, consistently, to get exactly what it is you want.
No wavering, no missing workouts, no negative self-talk, no negative and tired thoughts.
All of those will hold you back from getting the physique you want.
Choose your goal and become committed to achieving it.
Start to become more aware of how your subconscious is trying
to sabotage your fitness results.
For example, you want to shed 10 pounds of fat but every time you see a piece of homemade bread, you give in to temptation.
Or you want to gain 5 pounds of lean muscle yet fail to eat the right foods at the right times.
If you let it, your subconscious will prevent you from reaching your
fitness goals.
So be more aware of what you're thinking AND what you're doing.
It's the combo of the two that's important.
So, instead of waiting like everyone else to start getting what they want, start now.
Don't wait 2 more months to achieve the body you'd like to have.
Get it before the others even start!
Start the New Year off differently this year--Already HAVE the body you want to have.
