Team Scivation had a little gift for its members this month, a Free bottle of their new preworkout formula vasoXplode.

Here are some of my stats
Been training for 2 1/2 years
6'
191
9%bf
Began cutting (Cut Diet) 3/5/07 for my first contest NPC Show Me Naturals6/23

I had been off preworkout supps for about 2 months after having used them for about a year and a half.

vasoXplode has a formula similar to NO Shotgun in that it has add beta alanine into the mix of the standard di creatine malates, different versions of aragenines, and citrulines as well as caffine and tyrosine; all of which are standard to most preworkout ergergy/pump/focus formulas.

Here's a write up on the ingredients Beast provided. Primal N20 and vasoXplode have the same formula:

Now onto my first impressions:
The first thing that I noticed when opening the jug was that it smelled almost exactly like powdered CountryTime Lemonade.

The taste was pretty close to it as well, just not quite as sweet. As far as supplement taste goes, this one tastes great, and mixes well.

After about 15 minutes I felt the beta alanine tingles in my face which meant that it asborbs quickly.

The energy came on very smoothly with no jitters. I wasn't amped and pacing, but I was alert and ready to rock.

During my first sets of BB Curls I would get a wicked burn at about rep 12 through 15, but no cramping. The beta alanine my buffer the lactic acid, but one it hits it hits hard. By the third set I had pronounced vascularity inmy inner nad outer forarms, and my inner biceps. After the fourth set I hed a good pump, but nothing extreme. My muscle sfelt full and solid definately, not the skin tight can barely move pump that some other brands bring on.

During my second movement, preacher curls, the lactic acid burn was not as intense and the vascularity was more pronounced

While doing my fourth movement Hammer Curls, I had a much better pump, but that also could be from being so far into the workout. I did however have some wicked vascularity.

On my first set of Triceps rope press downs my triceps were swollen and the pump just got more sick through out the rest of my workout Triceps were full and hard at the end of it all.

The net day was delts and calves. Acid buffer and energy were both still very good and strong. The pump was good, but, not impressive. I also had not had a carb meal for three days at this point. Since I carb up tonight, tomorrow will let me know what the pump can really be.

Excellent observation. I have used products containing BA and never even felt tingles. While the tingles are a direct indicator that high quality BA was used in the formulation, keep in mind it will take 3-4 weeks to significantly increase intramuscular carnosine and feel the ergogenic effects of Beta Alanine supplementation.

Btw, excellent revies thus far.

Good point Hal. Many people overlook this.

I knew it took some time to accumulate in the body, but not quite that long.

Oh, and the pump from vasaXplode is huge. I did chest yesterday morning after my carb load the night before, and my chest was thick and swollen. Energy and focus were off the charts. I was able to block out everything else in the gym, and concentrate on the movements and my muscles. I did 20 sets of chest and abs in about 1 hour and 15 mins. The pump made practicing some poses between set and after the workout very inspiring. Next week I will bring my camera to show the effects. My chest just might look bigger that Derek and Marc's.

Lobliner has a chick chest! Although he did make me vomit in his garage doing a chest and back workout one time. I guess he's kinda tough just not big.

Just woke up and am drinking 2 scoops of vasaXplode with 2 scoops of watermelon Xtend; tastes like candy. Had a refeed last night, so let's see how this stuff works on LEG DAY. I've got 24 sets to put it to the test.

I have to say though that on Tuesday I didn't get that great of a pump on back day which usually gets me jacked. This could be for two reasons:

1. I tried an experiment mixing vasaXplode with 2 scoops of Substance. Might have been too many aminos competing for absorbtion.

2. I also was pretty carb depleted since my refeed was on sunday night.

But, Energy was off the charts. Still smooth. No jitters.

Vascularity was intense. Pipelines runnning through my forarms and biceps. A few veins starting in my traps. Calves were very straeked as well.

The one thing I have noticed is there is also a thermogenic effect. I am still sweating my ass of just like when I was taking Thermal Rage pre workout. This too me is a plus, helps to flush out my system and burn some more calories as I cut for contest.

It takes a nut case to superset Heavy Bench Presses with heavy ass rack deadlifts! Only you can do that with a smile, then go for a quick run afterwards!

Thursday was leg day. It was a great leg day. I warmed up for squats with 135 lbs for about 12 reps and my legs were pumped. Not qqite walking funny pumped, but pumped from a warmup set. Eneregy and focus was off the charts. I was able to keep rest time down to 1 minute while squatting which is usually hard.

Every Preworkout mix I have used claims to increase your focus in the gym, but vasaXplode really delivers. Visualization of lifts are no problem and come naturally before and during the lift. The mind muscle connection is incredible. I can literally see the working muscles as I fell them move.

Vascularity is still extreme. Arms full streaked while doing legs. I can see veins in quads working their way to the surface even through a tan.

Did 24 sets of legs in about an hour and 20 minutes.

Friday was arms. Better bicep pump this week. Triceps were jacked again, fully swollen and heavy on the back of my arms. Vascularity beginning in front delts as well as traps. Energy and focus was off the charts again.

Saturday was delts. Better pump this week. Delts were looking full and capped. Could see better separation when working each section. Sick vascularity in arms and delts as well as traps.

Energy was good, not as stellar as usall, but i did work all night the night before. Focus was still excellent.

This week the vasaXplode was just as good if not better than in the two weeks before. I have been getting barely 7 hours of slep per night, but my workoutsw have been cranking at a high pace.

So The energy is still excellent.

Mental focus is extreme. It really helps on the third and fourth sets of each movement. Gives me the extra grit and boost to keep repping out.

Speaking of reps, this week all exercises were done to 15 reps. The great part is that I was able to use the same weight that I did last week for 12 reps. I still have some strength problems with my bench presses, and delts, but, everything else is definately getting stronger; especially my squats.

Pumps are still very good. Chest was extremely full this week with a few striations while pumped. This week, I finally got an excellent pump on back day. My entire upper body was jacked.

Thursday was legs. The pump was extreme. My legs were swollen including hamstrings.

Arm day, and shoulder day had the same effect. Arms were stretched to the limit, and delts were fully capped and separated.

Vascularity is beginning to get extreme. Part of it is of course due to the drop in bodyfat from being on the cut diet and the extra cardio, but while training the veins are getting sick. Biceps and inner forarm veins are THICK. Inner Biceps have more veins in them ant the tops of m forarms are now streaked.

Traps and delts are gaining vascularity, but only while training. Calves have a large amount of thick veins. Still none on quads, but they are working their way to the surface. I can see where they will be.

All in all this week on vasaXplode showed a wonderful strength increase, great focus and intensity, and an increase in the amount and quality of vascularity.

Here's a stat update:

Weight 187
BF% 8.4

I've always been a bit vascular, even when I wasn't training and out of shape I still had a vein on top of my biceps, and a few in my forarms.

I've been using vasoXplode for about three weeks now, and those veins are much wider and thicker. I also have an increase in the amount of veins in my arms and some that I have definately never seen before. Part could be the dieting and high rep exercises while on the Cut Diet, but I know that vasoXplode is helping in that matter as well.

Here are my final thoughts on Scivation's vasoXplode.

I'm two servings into my second tub, and vasaXplode is a very cosistant product. With every other pre workout supp I have used I have had to continaully up the dosage to have the same effect for energy and pump, but not with vasaXploe. 2 scoops and I'm amped, focused and ready to rock even while cutting on only 130g of carbs a day.

Taste 9.5 Almost tastes like a real lemonade mix.
Mixabilty 10. pour the water, a couple of shakes and its ready to drink.
Absorbtion 9 Most days I feel the beta alanine tingles within 10 to 15 minutes
Energy 9 Comes on smooth with no jitters and is definately motivating
Focus 10 Mind muscle connection is supreme
Pump 8 On all days the pump was good, but it was not extreme on all days. Sometimes it took a few sets to be come extreme, and others I would be swollen after a warm up set.
Vascularity 9 Since I began vasoXplode my preexisting veins have gotten thicker and I have new veins on top of my forarms, inner and outer biceps, traps, and delts

Overall a solid 9

Price if I had paid for this I definately would say 10, because at around $26 it is extemely affordable for the high quality ingredients that Scivation is known for.
