Welcome to my sponsored CEL log...I will be testing out two products from CEL: n-CREAce and Edge-NO. First off, I want to thank CEL for picking me to test out this stack and sending off the goods promptly. Second I again want to thank them for the cool shaker bottle and samples (although the lemonade refuel sample spilled out into the shaker so I couldn't really sample it :( I think you guys did a great job designing your packaging...very good looking containers.
Now a little about myself:
Age: 19
Height: 5'8-5'9
Weight: 162-167 (fluctuates greatly)
Bodytype: Meso/endo
Training sched: I do a three day split four times a week. Back/bi, chest/tri, legs/shoulders and I also try to do some light (20 min) cardo 2x per week. I also ride my bike to school which is entirely up hill and about half a mile there. So I am riding about 2-3 miles per day on my bike.
Water: ~1.5 gallon/day
Diet: 2800-3200 cals. 250 protein, 280 carbs, 100 fat
My diet mainly consists of top sirloin, 93% lean ground beef, top round steaks, chicken, tuna, shrimp, pork chops, WW bread, WW bagels, WW pasta, natural PB, sunchips(yes I eat them, and they are delicious), WW hamburger buns, oats, skim milk...you get the idea, pretty clean.
Current supplements: n-CREase, Edge NO, leucine, Beta alanine, cyto. complete whey, AI whey isolate, DS sustain, vit. C, Mult., (WMS, Dex., gatorade all post workout).
Current phase: bulking
Short term goal: I am trying to get up at or above 170lbs
Long term goal: Maintain at 180+ with single digit BF.
I am currently stacking AP+powerFULL but I will be done on Tuesday, so that means this log offically starts WEDNESDAY. Thanks again to CEL and I hope all goes well.

INITIAL THOUGHTS
The Edge-NO pills are huge! Not hard to swallow for me, but perhaps they would be for others. They have to be almost twice the size of your standard multi. But like I said before, great job CEL on the packaging, I really really like it. These pictures really do them no justice.
http://img487.imageshack.us/img487/4072/ce022smyr8.jpg http://img487.imageshack.us/img487/1545/ce025bm9.jpg
Pre workout: 5 caps Edge/3 caps n-crease, 2g beta alanine
Starting weight: 166lbs
The workout: Chest/tris
Chest:
Pec flys: 90x12 105x10 135x6 135x6 105x8
Machine chest press(I dont really know the actual weight on this machine. There is a stack of 20 weights, so I doubt each one is only 10lbs, because Ive never seen anyone do the whole rack, which would only be 200lbs): 80x10 100x8 120x6 120x6
Iso-lateral chest press: 147x8 187x6 207x6 147x8
Tris:
Tricep pushdown: 50x15 60x10 70x8 60x8 50x10
Tricep extention: 40x10 50x8 50x8 40x10
Post workout:
Shake 1: 5g lecuine, 40g dex/gatorate, 25g WMS, 2 caps n-crease
Shake 2: 2 scoop whey iso w/ water
Overall thoughts: First workout was good, not much to say about the stack obviously. Strength and intensity were good even though I didn't take any caffeine this morning like I usually do before my workout. I felt a pretty good pump, but lower than average vascularity. Again, probably none of this is do to the stack. Next workout: Friday- Legs/shoulders

Here is what I ate yesterday just so you guys can get some idea of my diet:
Meal 1:
Oatmeal: 2/3 cup oats, 2/3 cup skim milk, table spoon natural PB, splenda
Protein shake: 2 scoops cytosport whey, 10oz skim milk
1 multi
1 vitamin C
Postworkout (meal 2):
Was stated above in my previous post
Meal 3:
Burger: 6oz 93% lean ground beef, whole wheat bun, ketchup, mustard
Sun chips: handful of sunchips
1 large orange
Diet soda
Meal 4:
scrambled eggs: 2 large whole eggs, ~3-4 egg whites
Toast: 2 pieces whole wheat toast
Meal 5:
Turkey: 7-8oz REAL roast turkey, not lunch meat
Potato: 1 large red potato cooked in olive oil
Meal 6:
Protein shake: 1 scoop Sustain, 10oz skim milk
So there is an idea of my diet, I try to vary it quite a bit, but I always use lean meats and 100% whole grains. I know there isnt many veggies in there, I ran out and havent been to the store. :(

Today was an off day...I took 3 caps of Edge NO and 5 caps n-CREAse 2 hours after breakfast and 1 before lunch. I will take 3 more caps of Edge NO before bed. I may even start to take all 6 caps before bed on off days. People claim it helps sleep and raise GH levels. Any CEL reps see a problem with this?

Eagle calf raises: 155x15 175x15 160x20 160x20
SHOULERS(the gym was PACKED so I couldn't get to any free weights):
Eagle overhead press: 90x8 90x6 100x6 110x6 70x8
Upright cable rows: 110x10 125x8 140x6 140x6 125x8 125x8

Shake 1: 5g leucine, 35g dex, 25g WMS, 2 n-crease, 3g beta alanine
Shake 2: 2 scoops whey iso.
Weight: 165
Thoughts: I really would have liked to do some free weight shoulder work, but oh well. Today in the gym I felt pretty damn good, a nice sense of well-being. I am experiencing some ok pumps, below normal vascularity, but some really good endurance and strength. I am looking forward to the upcoming days with this stack. It should be fun!

Preworkout was the same as usual, as well as post workout.
WEIGHT: 165. Like I might have said before, my weight really fluctuates anywhere from 163ish-167ish. But I really would like to get to 170 after the end of this stack. 170 is my goal so I can start cutting for the summer. :D
WORKOUT:
BACK:
Wide grip lat pulldown: 120x10 160x8 140x8 140x8 120x8
Dual arm narrow pulldown(alternating arms): 70x8 100x8 80x8 70x8
Eagle Rows: 110x10 150x8 170(PR)x6 130x8
BIs:
Preacher curl: 50x10 70x6 80x6 50x8
DB curl (dropset) 35x6 30x6 25x6
Low cable curls: 80x10 100x8 120x6 80x8
THOUGHTS: PHEW...hell of a workout..I really felt good in the gym. As I read over the ingredients I really don't know which one(s) are responsible for the nice boost of energy and sense of well-being...or it could just be placebo. But I am really starting to like this combo. I got a really nice pump today especially in my bis, but even in my lats too which I don't normally feel all that much. I just felt bigger walking out of the gym today for whatever reason. Three really good workouts so far this week. Its looking good so far.

Just for fun/general info. purposes I decided to take out 6 random tabs of Edge-NO and 5 caps of n-crease (my normal daily dose) and measure each pill on my digital pocket scale. I had no idea what they are supposed to be, but after this I got a pretty good idea.
Edge-NO: 1.9g, 1.8g, 1.9g, 2.0g, 1.8g, 1.7g
Average= 1.85g
Just FYI, there should be 1.15g of active in each tab. Im not sure how much extraneous "stuff" is in each cap, but it looks like there should be plenty of actives in each tab. Good stuff.
N-CREAse: 0.9g, 1.1g, 1.0g, 1.1g, 1.1g
Average=1.04g
There should be .705g of active in each cap, so again this measurement looks good.

Pre and post workout was the same.
WEIGHT: 165
CHEST:
Chest press: 60x15 90x10 110x8 130x6 150x2(PR) Again, I am almost positive this is not in pounds...there are 20 weights numbered 1-20, so I did a stack of 6, 9,11,13 and 15..I really don't know how much each one weighs...proably 15-20lbs
ISO-lateral chest press: 147x8 187x6 237x3(PR) 147x8 97x10
Decline DB press: 40x10 50x10 55x8
Chest flys: 90x10 120x6 110x6 90x10
TRIs:
V-bar pushdowns: 50x15 70x8 85x6 60x8 50x10
DB kickbacks: 30x8x4
CARDIO: 10 min on the bike
THOUGHTS:Really good workout, I really tore my chest up and pushed almost every excercise to failure. My triceps were pretty exhausted just from the chest workout, so by the time I got to the actual tricep workouts, they were burning pretty bad. I got a really painful pump in my tris, I like :D I feel like my strength is increasing. Im not sure if this is due to the new stack, or the fact that I had been at a semi-plateau for a while and I am just gettting over it. Either way I am happy. I thought I would do some really light cardio just because I felt lazy. The truth is I am getting a lot of cardio from riding my bike to and from school each day. I only rode the bike for 10 min because I had already been in the gym for about an hour and a half and I didn't want to stay too long. This week coming up is finals week so my workout schedule is going to get a little screwy.

Postworkout: 70g carbs, 2 scoops whey
Lunch: 2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites, 1 WW bagel
"Snack:" 10oz shrimp, 4oz WW pasta
Dinner: 10oz eye of round steak, 3 handfuls sun chips

Day 6 (yesterday) - Yesterday was an off day, but I felt lazy so I went on a little run for about 20 minutes and probably ran around 2 miles(pretty hilly). I dosed all 5 n-CREAse in the morning on an empty stomach. And I dosed all 6 Edge-No on on empty stomach right before bed.
Day 7- I was planning on workout out today... because of finals my workout schedule is a little screwed up. But last night I started feeling like I was getting sick...so I loaded up on Vit. C and took some Zicam..but I still woke up this morning not feeling 100% I was also planning on workout out tomorrow, which is normal, but the way I am feeling it doesn't look like I am going to. I don't think this is horrible, as I was feeling really sore and needed a break.
Things to note: I am feeling some increased and longer lasting DOMS. My DOMS usually go away within one day these are lasting 2-3 days. My vascularity is improving from the first couple days. Hopefully my next workout will be friday.

Day 8: Off day/still sick
Today (day 9)
WEIGHT: 164
LEGS:
Hack squat: 105x12 195x10 285x8 375x6
V-squat: 234x12 324x10 324x10 414x10
Sitting calf raises: 45x20x2 90x10x2
Eagle cybex calf press: 150x25 150x20 160x15 170x10
SHOULDERS:
Underhand DB raises: 25x10 30x10 30x8 25x10
Eagle shoulder press: 70x10 90x10 100x8 70x8
Upright low cable rows: 80x15 120x12 140x8 150x8
Thoughts: I am still not 100% and my workout suffered. I lost a little strength and didn't want to push it too hard. My diet has been "good" I just lost my appetite for the past few days so my weight is down. I feel like this stack is helping my strength a little, but I am not feeling the pump or vascularity like others are. I think I am going to bump my Edge-NO dose to 8 caps pre workout and 8 caps pre bed on off days. Hopefully that will increase my vascularity and pump a little. I should be feeling 100% by tomorrow. I am going home for spring break tomorrow so I will be using a different gym and my workouts will change a little bit, but it shouldn't be too bad. I am hoping to get a workout in for the next three days to make up for being sick this week, but who knows.

Preworkout: I decided to change up my preworkout dosing to see if I can see any benifit/difference so it went like this:
8 tabs Edge-NO/5 caps n-CREAse/1.6g beta alanine
BACK:
Wide grip lat pulldown: 135x10 147.5x10 160x6 147.5x6
One-arm DB rows(each arm): 30x10 40x10 50x6 50x6
Seated rows: 87.5x12 125x10 150x8 137.5x8
BIS:
Preacher curls: 60x10 72.5x8 72.5x6 60x6 40x8
DB curls(dropset) 35x5 30x5 25x5 20x5
Postworkout: Because I changed my preworkout n-CREAse dosage to all 5 caps pre, I won't be taking any post for a little bit. But other than that...
35g dex/20g WMS/5g leucine/3g beta alanine/40g whey
WEIGHT: 163... :(
THOUGHTS: I think the 8 tabs of Edge-NO did the trick today...I finally felt a really good pump and some decent vascularity. Strength was ok considering I just am getting over being sick. I should be 100% by tomorrow. My weight is down, and I really need to bring that up quite a bit, but for some reason I feel like I am putting on some adipose...so I might just have to eat really clean for a while and increase the cardio slightly. I burned through my workout today in about 40 minutes, so that was some good cardio. Overall I feel good and am liking this stack.

Well my girlfriend came over this morning so I got a little preworkout "cardio" ;)
Preworkout: 1.6g Beta Alanine, 8 Edge-NO, 3 N-CREAse
CHEST:
DB press: 55x10 75x6 70x6 65x6 (Haven't done these in about a month)
Incline DB press: 45x10 55x8 50x6 45x8
Low cable cross overs: 45x12 55x10 75x6 65x8 55x8
TRIS:
Tricep press: 55x12 65x10 80x8 85x6 65x8
DB kickbacks: 25x10 30x8 30x6 25x8
CARDIO:
10 min high intensity on the eliptical trainer. I burned about 120 cals according to the machine.
PWO:
35g dex, 5g leucine, 3g beta alanine, 40g whey, 2 caps N-CREAse
THOUGHTS: I think I am experiencing some diminishing returns and even negative effects of my carbs PWO. I think for the rest of this log I am going to cut out the WMS and leave the PWO carbs to 35g dex and then have some lower GI carbs about 45 min later with my "real" meal. Great pump and vascularity today, I think 8 Edge-NO is my sweetspot. So far so good on this log. My intensity is up, my strength seems to be slightly up, but my weight is way down and Im not sure why. My diet has been pretty good the last few days, and I even feel like I have gained some weight (fat). So I dunno what is going on. It could be a discrepancy between scales since I will be using a different scale until next Saturday when I go back to school. Hopefully the low weight is from being sick for a few days and my weight will jump back up within the week.

Day 12- Yesterday
Eliptical machine 30 minutes at medium intensity.
Dosing: 5 caps N-CREAse pre breakfast/ 8 tabs Edge-NO pre bed
Day 13
Preworkout: 3 caps N-CREAse/8 tabs Edge-NO/1.6g Beta alanine
LEGS:
Smith Squat: 135x10 185x10 275x6 245x6 225x6 135x10(below parallel)
Seated leg press/calf press, superset: 200x12/20 280x10/20 300x8/20 200x8/25
Walking lunges: 30'sx10x2 35'sx10x2
SHOULDERS:
Overhead press: 87.5x10 100x8 112.5x6 87.5x6
Upright rows: 80x10 110x10 110x8 90x6
Underhand DB raises, dropset: 30x5 25x5 20x5 15x5
Postworkout: 35g dex/5g leucine/3g beta alanine/2 cap N-CREAse/40g whey
THOUGHTS: Really great workout today. I think my stamina is starting to increase as well as strength. The pumps and vascularity seem to be hit or miss. I get the best pumps and vascularity on back/bi days more than any other day. They have been decent so far, but nothing to write home about. With that said, I have never put to much bank on "pump" products anyway nor have I seen any appreciable results from using them.

Low cable seated rows: 120x10 140x10 160x6 140x6
DB rows(each arm): 35x10 45x8 50x6 30x10
BIs:

Standing Cable curls: 30x12 35x10x3
DB curls(dropset): 30x5 25x5 20x5 15x5
THOUGHTS: Amazing workout. Besides the new PR on latpull downs, I absolutely F*cked my bis up. They were the most pumped they have ever been. Overall a great workout. I also got a nice lat/back pump which is rare for me. Strength and vascularity are up from the begining of the log. Only good things to note so far from this stack.

Yea it was a pretty good shake, however I recently felt like my pre workout carbs were plenty and that I didnt need ~60g of high GI carbs post workout. So I am saving the WMS for another time and sticking to just 35g dextrose.

THOUGHTS: Another great workout, I must sound like a broken record. My intensity and focus was off the charts today. I got a damn good pump in both my chest and tris. When I was finished with the kickbacks, the pump in my tris actually hurt. On a different note, the 8 tabs of Edge-NO before bed on off days is really helping with my sleep. Whenever I take the Edge-NO before bed I am getting a deeper, longer more refreshing sleep...just something to note.

Is your diet in check?
Yea, my diet is definately in check. However I always loose weight when I go home because I just never eat enough. I don't have as much flexibility with my meals as I do when I am at school and I buy my own food. Here was my diet yesterday...
Meal 1: 2/3 cup oats, 16oz non fat milk, 40g whey,1 spoonfull of nat. PB
Meal 2: 8-10oz 93% lean ground beef, 1 whole wheat bun, 1 slice of havarti cheese
Meal 3: 1 fat free yogurt, 6-8oz turkey (not lunch meat)
Meal 4: 10-12oz chicken, 10oz whole wheat pasta, couple spoonfulls of pesto sauce(olive oil, basil, almonds, garlic, parm. cheese).
The diet is good, I simply just need one more meal in there somewhere. Its hard to have my parents keep stuff I like to eat when I am only going to be home for a week. Yesterdays diet was particularly bad, because I played golf half the day so I didn't really have an opportunity to get in an extra meal. Todays diet will be better.

THOUGHTS: I wasn't feeling that anxious to get into the gym today but that wore off after about my 4th set of squats. My legs felt pretty good today even though I hate doing smith squats. I hit my calves pretty well and ending a long leg workout with some lunges is always great :D I usually have the energy to do 3 different shoulder excercises, but not today. After that last set of front raises my shoulders were ON FIRE..I had to stop. Overall a very good workout, and my last one at home. I will be going back to school tomorrow and will be using my normal gym. However my schedule is changing because its a new quarter to I haven't quite figured out when I am going to go. I have about 6 days left on the Edge-NO and 12 on the N-CREAse. My weight is also up to about 164, which is still lower than when I started this log, but up since I got home.

Yea, I know I need to eat more, its just hard when I am home and there is a limited amount of suff especially when my parents only have to cook for themselves now, and they arent the biggest eaters in the world. Once I get back to school my weight will go back up and MAYBE I can get to 170 within this log.

Yea, I really haven't been doing much, but I don't think once or twice a week with no carbs is really going to be too catabolic. I also put on fat pretty easily, so a little cardio now and then makes me feel a little leaner.

Well...some *** got my credit card info recently and placed a bunch of orders online for almost $380 so I have been dealing with that today..with that being said, my pre workout dose of N-CREAse and Edge-NO came about 3 hours after breakfast which is about twice as long as normal.

Low cable curl: 80x12 100x10 110x8 120x8 80x10
THOUGHTS: Because I took my dose so much later after a meal, it was absorbed MUCH better that usual because I got a better pump today than any other day on the stack. Before, I had OK things to say about Edge-NO, but I think if you wait awhile after a meal to take your dose, then it really kicks in. The pump is now gone about an hour after I left the gym, but during I was getting more of a hard pump than the painful ones I usually get. I only have 30 tabs of Edge-NO left and I haven't figured out how I am going to dose it...probably something like 7,8,7,8 for the next four days.

P.S. On a slightly gross side note, I have noticed that whenever I take a piss within 1-3 hours of taking this combo(usually right after my workout), my pee smells a little off...sort of like when those of you who have the certain gene, eat asparagus. I felt unfocused and sluggish the whole workout which isn't surprising since I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in 5-6 days. My strength was ok for being so tired, but I had no intensity and probably could have increased the weight on most of my excercises had I slept anywhere near decent. First off I want to thank the guys at CEL for letting me test this stack, you guys have some solid products and hopefully you will continue to add to your current lineup.
LOOKS: 9/10 I have said it before, I think the packaging and the pills themselves are very attractive. You guys did a great job with this aspect of this stack.
STRENGTH: 8.5/10 I'm not really sure if I can attribute all of my strength gains to this stack as I was currently hitting on a few plateaus and was due to break them. Either way, this stack didn't hurt my strength at all. Before this log I was not supplementing with creatine on my off days, which could have posed a problem with my saturation. I could definately tell a difference in taking creatine every day.
ENDURANCE: 7/10 For the first few days of this log I experienced some pretty good endurance and found myself able to train longer and harder (heh heh ;) ) but as the log went on I found no real increase from that initial jump start. I think it was perhaps partial placebo effect. But then again, I wasn't really expecting too much of an increase in endurance.
PUMP: 7/10 I have really never put to much emphasis on pump/NO products as I haven't really read any good evidence supporting any claims that they increase muscle mass etc. Edge-NO definately gave me more of a pump than without it, but I had to increase my dose to 8 tabs/day and the dose had to come almost 2 hours after food to really see the effects. The pills were also huge and could be a pain for someone who has trouble swallowing pills. As far as a pure pump goes, anabolic pump trumps Edge-NO in this category.
SLEEP: 8/10 About a week or so into this log I decided to take my Edge-NO dose before bed on off days. And I really did see an increase in the "deepness" of my sleep on these days. As we all know, sleep is important for growth and repair, and I think Edge-NO was defiately more benificial in this aspect instead of being just a "pump product"
DOSAGE: 8/10 Even though there was only ~2.5g of creatine in each serving of this stack, I found that was enough to keep my stores saturated, and was fairly pleased with the amount, but I would not complain if there was about 1g more per serving. I think this would make people feel more comfortable with the dosage. I would also like to see more B-Alanine and no glyco. I think CEL needs to find some more efficient ingredients for Edge-NO (atleast for me). Taking two servings a day to see/feel decent effects would definately not be cost effective.
PRICING: 7.5/10 N-CREAse is priced pretty well to compete with most of the cappped creatine products out there, and I think with a slight reformulation (no glyco, more B-Alanine, and a tad more creatine) without a price increase, would make this product outstanding. I feel that Edge-NO is not really price friendly especially at 2 servings/day.
QUALITY: 9/10 As some of you may have read I took a random sample of each of the products and weighed them on my digi scale. Each one came out almost exactly like they should have. There was no spilled N-CREAse powder and no broken caps. And again, the packaging of these products was great.
OVERALL: 8/10 I felt like this was an overall quality stack. I felt some noticable effects and was definately pleased. However I feel like each product could use a slight reworking to be considered truely GREAT products. But for those of you who want a qulity stack with some good results, check out this stack. If you like capped/pill products, this should definately be a stack you should look into. These are two good initial products from CEL.
Thanks again to CEL and to those of you who read and enjoyed my log.
