I decided to start a version of German Volume Training. Right now I am on a program that is new so I thought GVT is something I already understand and how my body is probably going to respond. This will help me differentiate gains from the program and gains from the supplements.

I have received the supplements today and reviewed all the details. I have decided to officially start the thread Monday the 12th and go until April the 10th. I will post my review on Saturday April 14th.
As for the product?
1 bottle of n-CREAse has 150 capsules and suggests taking 5 each day.
1 bottle will last 30 days
1 bottle of EDGE-NO has 180 capsules and suggests taking 8 each day.
1 bottle will last 22.5 days
Now I have a decision to make. I could take the EDGE-NO as suggested and review the results when I am finished with day 22, take EDGE-NO only on weekdays, or take 6 each day instead of the suggested 8. Not sure yet so I am open to suggestions.
I am excited about getting started. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Nice looking log. I'll be following.
Personally, I'd run the caps at their suggested dosing so people considering buying them can more accurately determine if they are worth it. If you only use 6/day and don't see results, we'll never know if it was because you underdosed them, or if they product just isn't up to par (not that I'm suggesting that will happen). Better safe than sorry.
Good luck! :D

The first day was great. I am sure it was the general excitement of trying a new supplement and having the opportunity to review it that contributed to my workout but it did appear to go by fast and I was really into all the lifts. I thought I was going to move to GVT but decided on staying with the 5x5 workout I was currently doing. I did move my workouts to first thing in the morning. EDGE-NO suggested usage says that you should take EDGE-NO 2 hours after your last meal and 30-45 minutes before your workout. The only time that happens in my day is first thing in the morning since I try to eat every two hours during the day. Being my first workout in the morning with nothing to eat, I have to say I WAS VERY HUNGRY. This did pass after the first 15 minutes but at first all I could think of was food. As for more pump or vascular feelings, I really did not feel that much difference but it is just day 1. I did change my meal replacement I usually drink after my workouts as it had glutamine in it and it is suggested not to take glutamine or ephedrine with EDGE-NO.
Weight = 206lbs (I will only put my weight on Mondays)
Extra Info = I started my workout with Training Montage from the ROCKY III Soundtrack. I think this song is the perfect warm-up song for anyone. It starts with this great subtle beat and transitions into this much faster upbeat tempo that really fits warming up and moving into your workout. From that it was the new Fall Out Boy song This Aint a Scene.

I did want to add one thing I believe is a HUGE selling point for these two products. I have acid reflux (heartburn) although through medication it is under control. There are many creatine and NO products that I just cannot take because it rips my stomach up (*cough* N.O.-XPLODE *cough* Cell Tech *cough* *cough*). Citric acid is just not something I want in a supplement. Especially one I need to take on an empty stomach. Both EDGE-NO and n-CREAse are pill form and easy on the stomach.

Day three, second day to actually workout went very well. Yesterday I ran 2 miles in the morning and felt really good. Today I hit the gym early and I am starting to enjoy working out first thing. My workout felt easier than usual although I still have not seen any vascular increases. By the time I made it to the bench press I did feel fullness in my legs. 4x5 with light weight is not going to produce much of a pump but Friday will be the big test for that. After the third set of bench I noticed that my chest felt really pumped and the final set was easy. If I was not scared of screwing up the program I am on, I would be tempted to increase the weights more. Deadlifts went by without to much of a problem. I am working on developing my form right now so the weight is very light but I will be increasing that during week three. Before I started this program I had not done a set of dealifts since high school so I am a little rusty.

Day five, third day to actually workout and I am starting to notice a change. Yesterday I could not run because it was raining and I am scared of little drops of water. Today I had to start early because of a phone call I had to be on at 8:00. I decided to increase my weight slightly since Wednesday felt a little easy. It was the last set of each group that I noticed just how much pump I was getting. This only led to more excitement and motivation as I moved on to the next exercise. Next week I am going to start with supersets and see how that goes. Right now I am just going to enjoy my weekend.
Extra Info = I understand how important your water intake is. I am drinking 1 gallon each day and this morning I got up and felt like I was about to die of thirst. I am going to increase my water to 1 1/2 gallons each day and see how that goes.

Week two and today was really the first day I could tell a significant difference. I have never had a pump like that in my chest, I have felt that in my tris but never my chest. Tomorrow I will be hitting my legs and Thursday will be shoulders and traps but Friday will be back and bis so Friday I am going to take some before and after pictures. If this week continues the same way I will be personally sold on these two products. I feel great and I am excited about the rest of the week. I am still feeling dehydrated in the morning although this goes away quickly. I am not sure if I can pull off 2 gallons a day but I have moved it up to 1 ? and that seems to be helping.
Extra Info = Today is my wedding anniversary so I hit the gym late and really rushed through this posting. I will provide more detail tomorrow.

Have I really gained 4 pounds? Well first thing this morning I was at 209 so it looks that way. I do attribute some of this to the fact I have increased my water intake. My legs have really been worked hard with my increase running program so I cut today down to two supersets instead of three. It was a great day in the gym and I really was pumped about today since I took yesterday completely off. I was refreshed and ready to go. I am really excited about measuring again to see if I have grown a little but I want to hold off until the end of this.
Extra Info = Since the weather is heating up I will be working in the yard all this weekend. I would not be surprised if I loss some weight after Saturday. I am really going to focus on my water intake that day but Monday I might be around 206-208.

I have been traveling and new gyms are always tough to workout in. I should be comfortable with it by now but it takes a second to find everything and when you're doing supersets it makes it hard. My new workouts take a lot out of me and I honestly do not think I would be doing as well as I am if I was not taking these supplements. That being said it was a mixed week.

Besides getting pissed off about the login situation, this has been a good week for me. I have gained another two pounds and increased my arm size by .25 inches. I account some of the gains to water but I am putting on size and my wife said something today about it and that?s always nice. I have decided that this works for me and put in my order today for another two bottles since I will run out at the end of next week. I took some pictures today but they did not come out good so next week I am going to try to do a better job. I just had a camera phone with me so they really did not show that much detail.

So I have been in Chicago the last four days on business. I stayed at the Fairmont and they had this incredible fitness center. The only downside was the company I was with had restrictions on their internet usage so I could not log into the website. I did get to workout everyday and had no problem with equipment. Most hotels say they have a gym but its usually just one multifunction machine and 30 treadmills. This place has everything. There was one problem. My neck has grown. I brought four shirts and only two would button around my neck. Anyway, I will be updating my log tonight with all my notes from the week.

I have been working my ass off the last two weeks and everything came to an end this weekend. I got some much needed R and R with my wife and daughter. I have been to Chicago, NY, and Missouri all in the last two weeks so sorry for the lack up updates but besides airports and hotels I have not been able to think much less post. I have somehow managed to hit the gym each day. I would kill for some kind of basic membership to a gym where I don?t need to always pay the 5 dollar guest charge.
That being said, still seeing some great gains. The creatine bottle lasted until Wednesday but I had already ordered more so I am still on that and have not missed a day. The NO is going to last until Thursday when I will give my final report. My weight is 207 today so I have lost some weight but I have also cut my calorie intake to get ready for summer. [/QUOTE]

First I would like to again say thank you for allowing me the opportunity to test these products.
The first thing I noticed as I was putting together my summery is that my weight has gone down to 207. I think this is because my body has adjusted to drinking 1 1/2 gallons of water a day. Still, I lost 4 pounds of fat and gained 2 pounds of muscle in one month. I have been working like crazy the last two weeks but have still managed to stay on top of my workouts and it will pay off this summer. My body fat is still a lot higher than I would like but I hope to have it down to 11% by June. My legs are 1 inch smaller but I think that has more to do with my workouts than the supplements or diet.
Enough about me?
Overall the products tested were great. I'll take pills over powder any day. I have seen really nice improvements in the endurance I have to complete my workouts. When you do four reps it?s not the first, second, or third reps that add growth it's the fourth and the fifth extra that count. I really feel that these products gave me the extra power needed to get the most out of my workouts. The pump is nice and adds a little extra but the real results are in the way, after the first week you notice that on that last set you still have a little more to give. I will be continuing to take both products through the summer.
