Was thinking of buying this one... it seems a reasonable price and seems to be able to do all that I want it to do....

What do u think?

being 23 you may want to look around at the ones that are one price level higher (you will be stuck with it forrever)...that one looks cheap. I don't have a powerrack but I am looking at them right now and I have decided that the ones for about $100 Cdn more than the cheap ones are bigger and wider and made of thicker metal.

remember...if you like it you will use it...if you don't like it you won't

The next one up does look like it has a more solid frame

except no lat pulley, which is something I want!!!

Then the next ones up that do seem to have the lat pulley are smiths, and I don't want a smith macine....

Any suggestions on the one i like but with more solid frame??

Those Bodytec ones don't look to solid although there's no way to tell without using one. Do you guys have Lamar, Tuff Stuff, Nautilus, Body Solid, Bodycraft, Powertec, Keys, Powerline, etc. type power racks in the U.K. because any of those choices would be significantly more solid from what I've heard and experienced.

Guess I'd better keep looking....

If you have a good power rack then post it's name and i'll do a uk search for it and see how much it costs...

Thanks

for the links you have posted, the second one looks best, although i have not really heard of bodytec so couldnt give you an opinion on the quality.

i agree to look into a product and buy something well made, you'll be glad you did in the long run.

i currently own a bodysolid power rack and had no complaints with it. even with a great amount of weight on it, the rack still holds up pretty solid. i bought mine from www.gymratz.co.uk. there is another member on here that has the same one and recomended that site. they are a really great place to buy something from, although i dont think they sell my rack there anymore.

all their stuff is of a commercial grade, so the construction is going to be good, and really good pricing. if you ring them up they also give good advice from when i have spoke to them.

i'd definately look around a bit more though and see whats about and at what price. if you need any more help on anything let us know. good luck.
