Received the Cissus this afternoon so I will be starting the log tomorrow. I will be judging its effectiveness based on how both my knees and shoulders feel, particularly my left shoulder which I injured last January, and still is not fully recovered.

Good day today right knee was a bit tender and left shoulder had a dull ache as usual. Did not note any additional discomfort during the workout, was pleased by this especially on Dips which usually cause an increase in the level of ache of the shoulder. This is not unexpected as Cissus is supposed to have a mild analgesic effect, keeping this in mind I'm going to be careful not to push harder than I otherwise would, just because I'm not feeling the pain.

Strained my right quad sprinting on Wednesday so far it has only kept me from doing lunges, but if it prevents me from doing other exercises I will note it in the log.

Right knee felt great today no pain at all, left shoulder on the other hand feels terrible, woke up this morning with it very stiff and achy, don't know if I slept on it wrong or something, it did not prevent anything from getting done in the gym so all is good on the workout front.

Off day tomorrow.

Nice day today, knees felt great although the right leg is a bit tight from the strain on my quad, had to go lighter than I planned to on squats because of this. Had a nice run after the workout as well no problems with the knee, and the quad was nice and loose by then so it didn't hold me back any; will probably skip the scheduled sprints on Wednesday. The shoulder is not feeling much better yet, still nothing I'm not used to though hopefully that will change in the coming weeks.

Had to skip split squats due to right quad pain, everything else went as planned. Knees felt good all day, shoulder feels a little better today, although I did get a massage in class so that helped with the pain as well. Not much soreness to report although for me thats not unusual.

Excellent workout today, shoulder felt better than usual, and the knee gave me no problems at all until after my run, it was a bit tender but that has gone away since. On a not good note for me they are moving the heavy bag in the cardio room elsewhere and until they decide where I can't use it so I will have to figure out something else for cardio until they do which sucks. Although I suppose it will do my shoulder some good to get away from it for a bit.

Workout went excellent today, shoulder was stiff but not painful after a little warmup to loosen it up everything went well. Knees are feeling pretty good as well.

Shoulder once again felt decent most of the day, still a dull ache but not as annoying as usual, the pain I'd been having in the right knee has apparently decided to migrate over to my left :p, which is now a bit tender while the right feels great.

Have you noticed any Anabolic/Fat Loss effects of the PrimaForce Cissus??I know Cissus is suppose to have some Anti-Cortisol properties.

El Pena
03-03-2007, 04:01 PM
As far as fat loss weighed in this morning at 206 which was a 4lb drop this week although that is more than planned, lost 2lbs. last week on roughly the same calorie deficit could just be water though so I can't necessarily say its helping yet.

Can't really say for anabolic properties as I've been on Blue Up/Nos Precursor for a bit which has really helped my strength. I'm going off of them today so if I can maintain my strength in the next few weeks despite the low cal diet and no longer taking that combo then I'd consider the cissus to be having an effect in that department, but I'll have to wait and see.

Joints feel pretty good today, went and shot around the basketball for a while and then did some cardio afterwards.

Not much new to report knees have been feeling good so far this week, right shoulder feels great, left is still painful at times during the day, but the constant pain is gone.

Well joints are feeling good for the most part shoulder pain is mostly gone with the occasional little twinge now and then in the left one. Unfortunately I decided to test out my right quad on sprints again and strained it once again this time more so than last as this time around its much more painful. I'm icing it down a few times tonight and will see how it feels tomorrow. Either way I'm definitely staying away from sprints for at least 4 weeks this time if I even decide to go back to them.

Joints are feeling pretty good today, my right quad feels like crap. It's tight and tender at rest and hurts like hell when I stretch it. I'll be laying off of everything until Monday to give it a few days to heal and see how things go from there.

Got in a minor car accident on Friday, and had been without a car since. Got to the gym today and everything felt great, other than the quad, skipped lunges so as to not risk aggravating it. Cardio only today hit the heavy bag for about half an hour then played some 3 on 3, shoulder is feeling slightly better, quads are still very sore, and I took 2 elbows to the face in the span of 15 seconds while playing basketball . Just some minor bleeding around some teeth and a couple small cuts on the inside of my mouth so not as bad as it could have been.

First off thanks to SciVation/PrimaForce for making excellent products at great prices and to Beast for selecting me to test this product. I definitely like this Cissus it has reduced my joint pains, and while some days were better than others; for the most part after about 2 weeks I have not had any strong pain. I also had some improved recovery and reduction in DOMS.

I'll rate it an 8 out of 10 for reducing my joint pain, and 9 of 10 at reducing my DOMS.

I currently have some Osteobolin C which I'd planned to try before being selected to test PrimaForce Cissus so I will be using that for a few weeks, after which I'll decide which Cissus to continue using, given the cost comparison I'm going to give a slight edge at this point to PrimaForce unless the Osteo is just amazing.
