Ok, I am 162lbs, 5'6" I am trying to loose the body fat that I have. I have started lifting heavy weights, doing 50 min of cardio @ 4-5 times a week, and eating 5 small healthy meals a day.

3 egg whites
1/2 grapefruit

protien shake
banana

3oz chicken
greens
rice

protien shake
peanut butter
(pre workout meal)

3oz chicken
greens or a salad....


I am starting to see the weight drop off and muscle developing. I just am wondering what else I can do to kick it into higher gear. I also take Hydroxycut.....

I do not mind having muscle infact I want that.....so getting ripped is not a problem. I am also studying with ISSA to be a personal trainer.....I am only on the first chapter so any input would be a help. THANKS

Lisa, you didn't say when you're doing your cardio, but just by way of information, I've seen a big difference since I started doing my cardio before breakfast as far as fat loss is concerned. The first week I felt exhausted all day after doing it, but then my body adjusted to the routine. :) Also, I'm 5'4" & 116 pounds. I take in 1,400 - 1,500 calories a day, about 130-140 grams of protein, 125-150 carbs, and 20-25 fat grams. My bodyfat hangs at around 16%. Hope this helps.

I do my cardio after I lift my weights. We go to the gym @ 3:30pm everyday.
