for the nxt few months I'll be in my bulking phase... just one question... should I still incorporate isolation exercises, such as preacher curls, cable crossovers, etc., in my routine? Or should I just stick with the basics, such as the squat, bench press, barbell curl, deadlift, shoulder press, etc.?

when I bulk I try to stick with the basics If I feel isolation is neccessary i only do a few.

Compound movements are good for building a great physique and great strength. Isolation movements allow you to stare at yourself in the mirror at the gym without putting forth much effort.
