As long as you're sweating heavily and your heart rate is up it'd be as good as jogging.I'd feel like a fruit though,I couldn't imagine doing jumping jacks contiunously for 20 minutes.

Well I can get too about 150 before I'm done and winded. It feels good and it's a lot harder then just jogging.

I'll give them a try,gonna have to find a secluded area first,LOL.
I've started running with 15 pound barbells in eachhand. It feels good and i also get a kick out of some of the other joggers looking at me like I'm psychotic:D

Good idea. I think jumping jacks wouldn't be so bad, they'd also give definition to the shoulders.
Also try Jump rope, Even though I jog for 15 k, 4 times a week, I still do the Jump rope for 10 mins post-workout.
10 mins, 180 rotations per minute, on a jump rope is equal to 30 mins of jogging (look it up if you don't believe me).
I find the jump rope most convenient, because here in Canada, we have like 1.5 meters of snow, where it's not so good to jog :D
so in the winter, I do jump rope for 20 minutes before going to school, and it's REALLY tiring.
If you've never done jump rope, i really say you try it. You can do it in your basement, bedroom, anywhere. it also gives AMAZING definition to the shoulders.
