hi,
i have been working out for a total of 10 years, 6 of which were on and off and the last 4 years seriously. I am now ready to take the next step... i'd like to enter a contest.... even if i don't win or place i would like to say that i have had the chance to enter.... so basically i'm doing this for fun but at the same time as a challenge..i'm very serious about this... i am a stay at home mom and doing this will mean so much to me.. it will feel as if i acomplished something.... if there is anyone out there who can help me i would be so greatfull,... from reading books and reading posts... i understand that i should diet 12 weeks out from a contest, drop my carbs slowly, increase protein, and basically increase my training to twicw daily cardio.. is there more that i should know? Just the run down would be sufficient information thank you so much. my stats are 5'1, 115lbs, bf 19%
thanks again : )

Hey,
I just wanted to say that if you really and truly want to compete, you should go for it. I am also a stay-home mom to 3 beautiful children ages 2, 4, & 6 and I am planning on competing in the Galaxy Nova Competition next year. I am training now and eating healthy. It is a lot of work, but it is something that I know will make me sooooooooooooo proud of myself just to say that I competed, even if I don't win.
Maybe we can email each other to motivate each other.
Take care.
