So I just competed in my second show last saturday, the 2nd Annual NANBF Natural Columbia Classic... Wow what an amazingly ran show! I almost didn't do this show, but am really happy I did, so I can share with everybody how much better this show was than my last show (NPC natural, horrible experience). First of all the Columbia Classic is small show, so hopefully it grows each year and eventually turns into a pro qualifier. Communication was great and the promoter really cares about all the competitors, we got tons of free supps, shirts, a cool bag. Oh and backstage we had free food and rockstars! The dressings rooms had great lighting, the pump up area was huge with a ton of weights and mirrors! Plenty of people on hand to help with questions. I was able to get all my meals in, get pumped up, everything ran perfectly and I had a blast. My first show left me with a feeling of not wanting to even compete, but this show experience completely changed my mind! I'm going to be supporting anything NANBF/IFPA/OCB from now on, definitely a great natural federation for the sport.
