Evenin all,
I have been gradually working my way up slowly in the Olympic lifts and their variations. Recently invested in some Oly shoes as well.
My single goal at the moment is to increase my C & J and Snatch. I am hardly doing any isolation hypertrophy work.
I've just realised I can't post videos but for those that could spare the copy past time it would be appreciated to know what you think

mate the biggest thing is that back leg. make sure its bent so your hips stay under your shoulders or else you'll be chasing out in front every time, I think this one was light enough to save.

Cheers Chigi.
It's quite hard to find Jerk videos from side on view.
I can see what you are saying. That back leg isn't providing any power/stability at all really. I will be cautious to ensure that I am not planting it as far back as possible.
Another question:
My grip as I explode upwards. Should I roll my hands slightly forward (from the rack) and let the back nestle into my palm? Sometimes I occasionally get it caught on the callus area of my hand and it which can be a right pinch.

the biggest issue i saw was the bent leg
also you lean forward a bit when you dip and drive, which will ALSO contribute to kicking the bar out infront and having to run for it. becomes nearly impossible to save at 160kgs+
and holy chet @ that guy in the background doing some snatch stretches. tell him he needs to fkn keep his back way upright. he's curling himself into a ball or something weird

Cheers Greco for posting it like that.
Guys I'll be sure to sit back a bit more and become more upright. Will work at it.

*EDIT - And the giy in the background. Yeh, that bar is going to collapsing flat on the back of his head/neck
