Form wasn't very good and it was more of a power snatch but it counts. Missed on 97.5. Going to try for more weight next week, I just need to work on my balance in the bottom and I will be able to get a lot more weight.

Edit: here's the 97.5kg miss

Pretty good lift!! You need to get faster and more comfortable in the OHS position (i.e. bottom of Snatch with bar overhead)!! :D

What's with the flailing of the arms at the end?

Thanks. I has thinking of incorporating snatch balances and more overhead squats to help with my comfort in a full ohs. Anything else that would help?

High hang snatches/snatches from high blocks. Great for drilling an immediate descent.

this. I'm thinking about making a club in my school, but then I would have to worry about other people's training. My own is enough to worry about. Sucks being the only one who knows the fine art of lifting things up and putting them down.

Its losing a lot of interest at our school now though. We used to have a team that competed, both pl and wl. But our coach that ran/started the program over 20 years ago left this year for another school because of insurance issues for a liver transplant he just had. He ran a clinic every year also at our school which was the largest strength and conditioning clinic in our state, we had both the mizzou and lindenwood coaches at it.
