Hey, i am 152 pounds, 18% bf, am looking for muscle gain and minimise fat, i think my diet needed adjusting. On a daily basis, how is 55% carbs, 25% protein, 20% fats?

Thanks!!

Just out of curiosity, how did you come up with those percentages?

OP, it is much easier to calculate your total daily caloric targets and then calculate total daily protein and fat targets than to try and mess with percentages.

Thanks for the replies. I got them percentages from a guy at the gym, want to sure if he was giving good or bad advice. I read the stickies and found a formula of 14-16 cals per pound of body weight, this means id only be eating bout 2400 call a day, isn't that a bit low or have i got it wrong?

Also i know protein is a gram per pound of body weight, and that carbs is about 50-60% (in my case about 350g), but is fat ment to be high?

Just re-read the stickies, I think 2400 was the maintenance amount. I need to add 10-20% to that!!

Read this http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121703981 again.

Use either Katch McArdle or Mifflin St Jeor to figure out maintenance, not the method you used.
