Sup guys I've been working out that past couple of months, and I've made some serious progress.
I can already tell just by looking in the mirror that I've gained a lot of definition and a bit of size as well.
However, my main goal was to tone down, look cut, and not bulk up in size.
I'm only 5'6, me bulking would just look proportionately wrong x.X

So my concerns are...

How do I maintain my current size (not diminishing it),
while dropping 5% bf (currently at 13-14ish%),
and getting toned (and eventually ripped ^^)????

Please help guys.. I need input!

quick facts:

1. While a beginner, some may experience fat loss WHILE gaining some mass but...
2. anabolism requires a SURPLUS in calories and will always 100% of the time include both fat and muscle gain. Individuals will vary in how much of each they gain.
3. fat loss requires a DEFICIT in calories and will always 100% of the time include fat loss and muscle loss. Individuals will vary in how much of each they lose.
4. Every person has a different genetic roadmap, and until you try you will not know how much muscle you will lose while losing fat.

The genetically gifted partition calories well, and they gain very little fat for a lot of muscle. Inversely a person who does this also burns mostly fat and little muscle while cutting.
However most people are average, so the goals become how to minimize fat gains while bulking and muscle loss while cutting.
