I've been reading the leangains article on Top Ten Fasting Myths Debunked (Major Update Nov 4th) and was wondering if after reading this, peoples views about how much weight to lose per week and the methodology behind it has changed.
Using the information given in this post and after reading a military study someone posted elsewhere on this forum - about muscle loss not occurring until quite a while into fasting (like days, not hours) - can you cut quicker than the 1/ 1.5lbs a week that seems to be recommended on a lot of threads here, without muscle wastage being sped up?
Sorry I don't have the link to the military study, I can't find it now.
And if this has been covered elsewhere could you post a link to it and I'll give that a read.
Thanks.
