Hello! I'm a 30 year old, single mom who is 5'5 and roughly 325 lbs, so you can just imagine what my joints feel like. Any suggestions on jump starting fat loss?

I think elliptical is great if you want to do some hard HIIT training, and it's easy on the joints because there isn't the same impact you get with running. Take it easy the first time though, the very first time I did it, I almost passed out... it's as intense as you want it to be.

With your stats, a simple 10-15 min walk 3 times a day will jump start weight loss. Try better portioning in your meals to reduce calories, and drink water. Stop drinking juices and pop.
