Advice: Screw fasteners don't hold well when screwed into end grain of timber.

a walker is normally rate up to 250-300 pounds, and you can add more braces to make it stronger... they're like 10-15 bucks at a thrift store... they're good. i've tested 1 out lol.

With just a bit more scrap wood you are not far from building something pretty strong that will last a long time. If you can use some pieces to go from the end of the handles straight down to the floor and tied in to the base. This will eliminate the leverage on those handles. Then if you build out the sides of where the handles meet the 2x6s this will minimise the roll and eventual wear and tear on the screws. Then i would just bake the base a little deeper, so you don't topple forwad or back.

Its not far from being a very long lasting usable piece of equipment, good job.

Repped.
