Hey guys im a noob, dabbled with steak n eggs/ keto past two weeks n lost 7/8 lb. Im a meso/endo n am top heavy (fat stored in chest n stomach area ). Im 5ft 10 n 14 st 1lb lookin to rip up. I want opinions on the following regime:
7 am 50 metre farmer walks x 5-10 at steep incline with approx 30kg each hand on empty stomach followed by 250/300 gram steak with 3/4 fried eggs in butter within 20mins of farmer walks.
sweet tooth during day cured by raspberries in 150ml of full fat cream.
6pm same meal as 7am
additional info i work on the rails so my job is normally physical hard graft of shovelling and heavy lifting and i walk/run my rottie 6/7 days a week. Id like to be about 13.5 stone 7/8% bf i know it will take time. Im thinkin this diet has plenty of fat n protein im also going to supplement with omega3 n thinkin of CLA n sesamin, i want this to be achieved naturally! Thoughts please guys, cheers, scott

Update havent started the farmers walk yet and am now down to 13 st 8lb obviously what im doin is working well.
Typical daily diet at the moment is 400-600 grams of steak with 3/4 fried eggs in butter and sometimes a good serving of fried mushrooms, also always having a full onion chopped and fried over my steak. Somedays i also have 150grams of raspberries. If im not doing a steak n egg day i have 2/3 oven cooked mackerel with chilli n garlic with broccolli.
on my steak n egg days i use omega3 supplement from holland n barrets 3x1 capsules a day in morning.
However I do have 2/3 apples a day 2/3 times a week lush red gala apples!
Currently walk my rottie 1.5/2 hours a day and where I live is mountainous not a typical level suburban area.
My diet today was mixed up between 3 pork chops with garlic n chilli with 2 garlic n chilli mackerel fillets followed by 150grams of raspberries with 150ml of single cream, stunning, also 2cups of strong tea with dash of milk and 2hermesete? Sweeteners.
I dont graze with my food, cos of my work patterns i tend to have a good long sleep n just have a good hearty size meal in one hit, thinking bout it im actually doing IF as my meal times are exact same time every day as i have a routine.
Cant wait to start heavy farmers walk every 36hours apart aswell as keep doin what im doing, i get plenty of protein and good fats already but will increase protein intake when I do this.
Took progress pics today and am happy with what im seeing.
Im open to suggestions if anyone has any helpful advice or whatever so please reply to my thread, I'd be interested to hear from you guys. Also if your wondering I drink sugar free squash instead of water for my liquid intake, i know water would be better but its a treat i decided to grant myself as im strong minded with my meal planning and choices.

Slow down. 5lbs a week is over double what you should be looking at. You're losing too fast. No more than 1 to 2lbs a week or you're going to be eating into muscle. Don't think that losing weight quicker is better. If you lose that muscle, you've only got to put it on again later down the line and it's a lot harder to get it back than it is to lose it in the first place. You might end up looking ripped but instead of muscle showing through, it'll be bones.
Up your calories until you're only losing that 1 to 2lbs a week. No more than that.
Be patient. With weight loss, quicker is never better. Slow and steady wins the race.

I prefer intermittent fasting to keto dieting (lowcarb used to be my favorite but I like the other approach much better). I don't like keto breath, and always avoiding carbs is kind of a pain in the rear.
Keto will cause some pretty quick weight loss but some of that will be glycogen, not fat.

Hey thanks for reply, i can totally understand your comment though I think I'm losing fast as obviously water weight but also I dont really know my daily caloric needs or how to find out an accurate calculation. All I know is Im eating big with plenty of fat and protein and my cals are around 2000 give or take.
I understand about the skinny fat look which is obviously not what Im after seeming as Im a naturally fairl stocky guy. Ive managed to get my hands on two 25litre water containers for my uphill farmers walks ive also used today as my cheat day and had a big roast with cake crisps and chocolate basically total junk day and ramped up cals, tomoz back to my diet ive used past few weeks but with extra 150ml of cream a day @ 300cals plus an extra steak for fat and protein. Ive recognised Im losing too quick.
Just curious, do you know if i can do a cheat day consisting purely of keto foods rather than carbs? Im a massive eater and was curious if I could eat 4000-5000 cals of fat and protein to increase leptin or does it have to be carbs fat and protein?
Cheers for takin time to comment I appreciate it bud
