Hello: Ok so I did the Dr.Bernstein diet for a year...I was 364lbs when I started and lost over 100lbs...I got down to 252lbs...finished in Oct 2011 and maintained my weight on their maintenence program for about 2 months...Then I did what I said I would never do again...EAT CRAP...So needless to say I kicked back up to 293lbs...I am currently sitting at 280lbs...which I got down to on my own in about a week....Yes I lost 13lbs in 1 week...I know it is because lack of cal intake...

I have decided I want to lose weight the healthy way 1-2 lbs a week...I did workout well on the diet even though they don't really tell you too....I have plugged my current weight into the daily cal intake for weight loss...I come up with 2200 daily for extreme weightloss...Now I am used to eating far less then that....My concern is if I start eating 2200 cals a day I will just gain weight..I know I should have done it the healthy way from the begining...but damn I was FAT and tried for a long time to lose weight...I used to goto the gym 7 days a week for 2 hours a visit doing a circut and cardio...I swear to you I could not lose a lb or even gain a lb....and my diet was on point at the time....

I got checked for thyroid as my mom has had troubles...Dr said I was fine...and should be losing weight with everything...I swear I was doing everything proper at that time but nothing....

Breakfast: Doesn't usually happen until 10am...Veggies and dip..(Brocoli, Celery and Red Peppers) with Low cal ranch dressing..

Snack:100g chicken breast (plain)

Lunch:8oz salad(Iceberg lettuce, Red Peppers, Green onions and 1 tbps of marble cheese) Low cal ranch dressing.

Snack:100g chicken breast (plain)

Dinner:veggies and chicken in the crock pot...I use Red/Green peppers, onions, no salt tomatoes, brocoli, celery, asparagus, mushrooms and sometimes bean sprouts

Snack:No sugar Jello

Plus about (4) 1.5 litre bottles of water daily

Please feel free to rip apart my post and be brutally honest...I do not take offence to anything...I am looking for honest opinions and help and suggestions..I have read the "so you want to lose fat" article as well as many others on here...

Anything will be benificial to me!!!

Thank you
