So, my thighs look decent from the front, but seem to disappear from the sides. They're only 23", but they only seem to grow wide, not deep. Hips, glutes and adductors seem to grow the most.
Currently doing back squats and rdls.
Would like some suggestions for exercises to add depth. Thanks in advance.

I hit hamstrings pretty hard, but they're stubborn. Lateralis looks good from front, but bad from side. Go figure...

Squats and romanians first but maybe some leg press and reverse lunges? Press always seems to hit my VL harder than the rest and giant step reverse lunges can crush your whole posterior chain pretty well. GL. I'd be curious to hear what you go with and how it works (post, pm, whatever)

When i faced the issue you described i started doing research on what the pros did, this was in the late 80's, and i came upon a Shawn Ray article. He described inner thigh(abducter/adducter) exercises and hack squats for the "outer sweep." So i started with all 3 and found the hack squats with toes pointed( as he described) to give that outer thigh some sweep. I also read about stiff legged deadlifts with dumbells, with a major focus on form and pulling with the hammies. Times have changed and opinions differ on "toe pointing" but it certainly worked in my case. best of luck

I work out at home, so leg presses are out, but I do have a smith, so I can play around with foot placementto mimic a hack squat. Ghrs I've tried to do make shift at home, but finding a comfortable way to do them has been rough. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks for the advice gang.
