Just mean how many reps at what number of sets? Are you following a certain routine or just lift by feel? My pc is literally half of your weight , but I'm progressing on triples at 5lbs a week right now with a singe I can do around 225lb
.
If you can't get a weight, you evaluate your biggest technique issue, maybe hit some sets at a lower weight to drill in the subsequent correction, then try again next time. In a sport so technical as weightlifting, there isn't a simple set/rep scheme you can use to achieve progress. It relies on proper positioning, technique, mental cues and then strength.

today was my 4th day in a row of training, and i've done snatch and clean pulls the past 2 days so im dead (my weakest point). i still managed to snatch 115 for 4-5 doubles fairly well and then 2 cleans + 1 jerk up to 140. felt really good for being so worn out and tired

It to Steiner 3 years to acquire German citizenship and be able to compete internationally for them. So get on that **** soon, it would suck if you waited until your numbers were like there, but then didn't get to compete for America Jr, I mean Canada

snatch pulls - 100x4, 110x4, 120x4, 130x4, 120 3x4

i suck at pulls
first time going to 90% on snatch, nailed it very nicely. he said it was better than my 120/125 lifts. i also feel like im using my whole body cohesively. easiest 130 i've ever done (and w/o straps ;) ) definitely good for 145 at my comp in october. my bodyweight is still hovering a bit below 94. mostly 92kgs, some days 94

Just curious, which country do you want to lift for? I'm pretty sure I read that it was Canada but didn't you say you wanted Norway? Forgive me for not lurking far enough lol

haha, i'm going to lift for Canada. i'd love to lift for Norway but i dont have and contacts and resources to move there and start up. i was already in contact with a coach here that i met a few years ago, and my wife's family lives here, so i'm good to go
p.s. i just ordered a red adidas clubline singlet. dont b mad. dnt b jealous when u c me struttin on the platform in all red
i got it because akkaev has a clubline

most i've ever DL'ed in my life is 185kgs @ 94 bw
picking weight up off the ground is a huge weak point for me. hence why my coach is having me do snatch and clean pulls

today was a **** day, but i did good considering my erectors felt like they were going to snap in half due to the snatch pulls from yesterday

snatch - up to 100x2, 100x2, 110 4x2
hang clean up to 115 5x3
backsquat up to 150 5x4

it's good , because an "off day" before meant me not even snatching 100 for a single. today i do 110 for multiple double. horosho

LOl idk. the mock day is in the middle of the training week :( it's not supposed to be a true true max day. i hope i go 150/190 at my meet in october. actually id be pretty stoked if i cj'ed 182 to break the 400lb barrier

hly **** my back felt so bad today
hang snatch - 60x2, 70x2, 80x2, 90x2, 100, 100 (warmup)
cj - 100x2, 115x2, 125x2, 130, 135, 140, 145, 150x on jerk, 150, 155x on jerk, 160x on jerk

i passed out like three times today. the first 150, then cam eback and got 150. then after the clean again on 155. waited for my coach to leave so i could try more. put on 160 and blacked out again after the clean. just ****ing exhausted. thursdays always suck cuz its my fourth day training in a row. but if i can clean 160 while feeling like a piece of ****, that's fine with me. my jerk technique was total **** today also, and when i got heavier, i didnt finish my pulls. no focus
honestly feels like i could powerclean 160 if i was fresh tho. and feels like i could clean & jerk 185-190 if super fresh and full of zest also

push press up to 100 for a few triples
fs up to 120 for a few triples

didnt miss a single snatch today and only walked forward a couple steps on 2 reps, also power snatched very first rep

weight was 95kgs in clothes, so pry around 93~ naked

the first time i ever really did clean pulls was 2 months ago. i struggled to do 140 x 3. each rep was a grinder. today i do 170x2 pretty fast. nice bbz

start with the bar one finger's space from the shins, ass up, loose arms, full lung breath, pull the bar straight up in a controlled way until the first 1/3 of the thighs, execute the extension (exactly vertical) and the pull should end at the 2/3 mark of the thighs
he always says to use all your muscles at once, not separately, and "it increase your force". i have a bad habit of never using my traps which i'm fixing. i had a bad habit of taking my shoulders backwards at the extension but i've fixed it already (they go vertical up now). just normal stuff. keep bar close, make your legs and back work together, acceleration at the proper time, etc
oh yes, one of the most frequent things he tells people is to cover the bar more (with your shoulders, you know)

this is why we need vids frav! that description sounded like some kinda weird romanian deadlift with a bar phucking at the end kinda thing to me (but i'm horrible with written explanations). If you can find it in your heart to get a vid of those pulls i'd appreciate it cuz I feel like clean pulls would help me out alot but i don't think i'm really doing them right.

By the way i've been meaning to ask you if you are a triple extension guy now or you still think catapult style is better? your coach has you doing more triple extension right?

yep, notice how ilya's feet don't go backwards or forwards, just exactly out to side. it's cuz he is very vertical. and yes, i am attempting to be triple extension, except i hardly use my traps still out of habit lol.

i ended up falling asleep at 930am and sleeping until 1130. fok. deepest fkn REM sleep ever though. i didnt do this on purpose, i usually have 1-2 insomnia days a week and i srsly feel like killing myself because i cant fall asleep, but last night was extra bad

I had a gnarly split between my palm and middle finger for like a a whole month once. Just kept opening. It was right where hand stops and finger starts. Glad to see 120 going up no prob feeling like just the bar lol.

ah it's easy bro. i wasnt able to for a long time because of the military (forced to run 8 miles every morning and ****, it was difficult). just start adding an extra day on saturday that's pretty light, then the next week make it heavier, then add an extra day on tuesday but make it light, next week make it heavier. bam. in like a month you are lifting 5x/week. or you can do what i did and just go balls out and train heavy 5x/week, but i normally dont give that advice to people

it fkn sucks, i hate it. i can survive doubles now with ease (which used to be torture to me before), but triples still get to me. sometimes i have to do hang snatch x4 :|
that was even an off day for technique too :P

2 clean + 1 jerk - 100, 110, 120, 120, 130, 130, 130 for techniquez
clean pulls up to 140 3x3, 140 3x2
bs up to 130 2x3, 150 2x3, 160x3, 170x3

squats were ez as fuuuuuuuuuuuk. 170 was still like a speed squat

yeah i think so too :) it's what i'm aiming for. if i'm a canadian citizen by then anyway. i'll be a 105 though. my coach says i should be at 180/210 atleast, which is enough to get me there even as a 105. just to go would be a privilege

LOL intermediate algebra. it's kinda like pre-calc for my college. we do a lot of work w/ functions and operations w/ rational expressions, blah blah blah. it's really easy :( my major is computer programming

Yeah man got out of the Army in January and started taking classes this summer. ~4-5 years since I had taken any sort of math class. Mind was blown when I remembered all this imaginary number BS lol

fæn i was demolished today from C&Js thursday.

snatch up to 120
BS up to 180x2, 190, 200
push press up to 100x2, 110x2, 120x2
snatch grip btn press 60x11 for fun

warming up with 40kgs and 60kgs felt tough on my back. i knew it was going to be rough. surprised i got up to 120 in snatch though. 200 BS felt harder than it shouldve but it was still fast

went to FS and my knee bummed out again. my coach thinks my patellar tendon is just tight. i did electro stimulation b4 my workout, and after snatching and **** it got tight again and fked up apparently. so i did more electro stimulation after, hit some hamstring workouts cuz a teammate said it'd help, then went home. now i cry myself soundly to sleep. if you sit outside my window you can hear me whimpering

it's better already hehehehe. here's all the things my coach told me to do, if it helps:
1) before training, electro stimulation and heat cream **** w/e
2) after trening, electricity and massage, go home and generously apply heat cream to your knees then wrap them up in plastic wrap to trap the heat, leave on for 1-2 hours

knee wrap popped off after my 164 clean, kinda fked my jerk up. oh well, next time

i was an idiot and pretty much starved/dehydrated myself the night before cuz i was afraid of not making weight. then i was a whole 1kg under my target weight. mfw when i felt like a frail nothing .. for nothing. good learning experience i got a cool plaque

btw my coach is phenomenal. i would've been so lost without him. even though the lifts i made are 10kgs under my all time pr's, i'm still extremely happy and satisfied"

My knees are getting way better man.. not sure what's happened but i'm hoping my VMO has got stronger from all the FS. Did 110 8x3 yesterday and just failed 118 x 3 triple last week. Should get to 140 pretty soon and get some decent numbers going!

it's a set weight, often less than even 80%. but that's cuz he's just maintaining my squat power and giving more energy to strengthen my back cuz it sucks

my back is fked. there's a chiro who goes to my training facility and he took a quick glance at me and gave me his biznizz card. said my lower back was pretty fked, but he can fix it with an alignment most likely. i snatched 110 for 4x2 in agony then pretty much had to quit
