So, 111g of fat? If you're not gaining weight on this, something is wrong. How long have you been eating this way?

I think it depends on the person. i wanted to wait till i had some size so i wouldnt embarrass myself and come in last or something lol. once u actually decide to do it, then the mental aspect of the dieting, training, etc comes into play.
Edit:about gaining weight just eat more till u see a difference/or the scale moves. not much more u can do

Competing is a personal decision. For me I finally decided I would compete once I attended a few shows and saw what it takes to be competitive. Although size is important, what makes a competitor look good on stage is getting lean enough to display the muscle.
I would also interject that if you are gaining 1lb or two per week that is plenty. You don't want to gain weight just for the sake of getting heavier. Use your progress in the gym to dictate how much more you eat. Anyone can put on 10lbs but just eating, you want to put on 10lbs through eating enough so that your training allows your body to adapt and add muscle. It's a slow process. From the looks of things you are doing very well.

This^ for sure. 1 lb a week of weight gain is very good. Too much of a surplus and you'll just be packing on unwanted fat. Muscle will not typically grow (naturally) at 1 lb a week. But, if you're wanting to gain 10 lbs for the sake of having 10 lbs, I guess it doesn't matter.

Thanks for the advice and I'm just wanting to add more size and I've been working really hard to gain more on my legs than anything and I think that's where most of the weight I'm gaining is going to. Also I'm planning on trying my first show in aug this year and I'll for sure go to some shows to see how it is first hand

You don't know. Just make the decision and do it imo! ;)
Had no idea what I was capable of until I just did it.

Agreed ^ however, I don't agree with not competing because of possibly coming in last. If you did, You woulx learn more than anyone can tell you.
