Depends on your current conditioning. Post a pic.

Here is a picture, but I was asking for the future not necessarily now.

Figure on losing about a lb. per week and add 2-4 weeks to that to be safe.....remember, slower is better to preserve lean mass.

This is exactly what I did for my first show. I estimated my bodyfat (on the high side), came up with needing to lose 22 lbs (with a few weeks added in), started 22 weeks out and I'm down about 18 pounds in 18 weeks and shredded already. I've also increased my lifts and set PR's as of last week on some things. I'd rather be ready early with room to adjust!

How do you find the correlation of bodyfat% to lbs needed to lose? Is there a calculator. I am 185 lbs with about 17% bodyfat at the moment, I have about 30 weeks until my comp, will definitely fall in the middleweight category after cutting.

At 5% bodyfat you will be in the 162lb. range IF you maintain ALL of your lean mass.

Pshickey, what cardio and how much did you use to drop your pound a week? I'm not making my progress fast enough to hit my goal for my competition.

HIIT twice a week on my off days. I follow Layne's PHAT routine. In the off season I was just doing HIIT once a week, then softball or some activity on Sundays usually.
