I want to get some speakers (not computer speakers, ones for playing music) but most of them require an ipod/iphone to be plugged in. I dont want that because it means i have to take out my iphone every time i get a message or get called etc which will be a pain. Are there speakers that you can just store music on like with a usb or something?
The sort of speakers i want are like this (but without needing an ipod)

why dont you try a internet radio device that plays wireless?
JBL OnBeat Air $250
B&W Zeppelin Air $599 the best you can get..it plays wireless or use can use the dock
Sonos wireless system..it will run you over 1K depending how you set it up
For simplistic:
Logitech squeezebox mostly for pandora $170

So you're basically looking for a mini system like the one in the picture.... go to your nearest bigbox electronic retailer
