The only reason I'd buy MW3 would be to finish the story. The gameplay and graphics look exactly the same.

The campaign story line is pretty good. Multi player maps have better graphics than MW2

$90 was probably for the hardened edition which comes with all the DLC they release
MW3 is good if you play the right modes, if you stick to standard TDM, FFA & domination, yeah, you'll probably dislike it. barebones is usually a pretty good mode, as are the elite playlists, because less kids seem to have elite premium to play them.

Finished the campaign, played 7 hours of multiplayer. Was angrier at the lag compensation then the sameiness, lent it out and haven't seen it since.
