So I've competed in 4 bodybuilding competitions placed in all of them.

The thing is everytime i compete my weight is around 135-140lbs. Ive ben working out for 8 years now. In the off season it is 160-165.

I have been dieting for 7 weeks now and my weight is 145. I feel my body looks the same as last year, same definition, same abs not really much more size or cut.

I want to be able to compete at a higher weight say 155, have better obliques, better abs and have a bigger chest.

in order to accomplish this goal how do I go about this? Do I just go on a regular diet and keep training hard?...do I try and bulk more?...9healthy bulk or clean? and for how long?

I know bodybuilding is not a spint its a marathon but i feel like im missing something. Should I go a full year bulking...Ive never done that...

Thank you...attached are pictures also in all my shows my bf% is 3-4 %

If you have been training for 8 years its going to take more than a few months of off season building to add significant muscle. I would really suggest taking more time in between contests.

Well let me ask you this ... before you started this cut please compare yourself to where you started your cut last time.

1) Were you lifting heavier or for more reps while at the same bodyweight?
2) Did you take any before/after measurements besides your weight last time ... if so did you do them at the same bodyweight this time and how do they compare?
3) You're not done your cut yet. You may come in the same weight this time but you may also come in leaner at that same weight as well. Remember the scale is only one form of measurement. It matters but it's not the only thing you should look at.

Nice shots. Don't stress, you may have hit a temporary plateau, you'll get through this. Chin up!
