What current games will be remembered?

Past generations have games that will always be remembered (pacman, sonic, pokemon etc), but what games from the past few years have a chance at getting that status?

I think the Halo series would have a good shot at it, as well as the MW series (no fanboy, but it breaks records every 2 years).

we just dont seem to have a massive stand-out game now (refuse to accept WoW).

halo 2 will go down in history with the greats. WoW will as well even though you dont think so. Some others I think would be the elder scrolls series and uncharted series

but The Gears Of War Series. Well, at least Gears of war 1 anyway.
