hi -

I have a girl coming over to help me w something - and she will be w me when I get home.
I have to take some emails and put them onto my computer. then I have to use them - but I think they automatically go into my download folder when I do this... my download folder has thigns she should not see in it.

MOVE the things out of your download...?????????folder

give us the path of your folder: IE C:\\mycomputer\downloads

im at work.. she will be there... I wont have a chance to move/delete anything

im at work, I dont knopw the path... it's probably exactly what you just wrote

I have pictures in gmail
they must go onto my computer.

whenever I dl anything, torrent, pic, any email attachment, etc... it goes into my download folder.

OK so if your using a GMAIL account:

When you see the pictures that you need to download CLICK --------VIEW

DON"T click Download

The picture will come up...then you RIGHT CLICK[the image]--->>> Save Image AS:

AND CHOOSE WHERE YOU WANT TO SAVE IT: LIke your desktop

U can avoid your download folder all together doing this:

You can practice this at work if you want just email yourself a picture..!!!!!!!!!

^ That, or you can just change the directory that your downloads go to in your Firefox/Chrome/Opera/IE settings.

Just go to settings and uncheck download to that specific folder and ask it to prompt instead. Select wherever else. Profit?
