View Full Version : [Help] Losing fat while Bodybuilding?

Aight, so I've been doing some weight training for about 4 months now I eat clean almost all bio stuff 4 meal a days rarely junk food and I don't drink soda or alcohol. I use almost only free weights and train to positive failure since I don't have a spotter and I'm doing a 5 days split with one day pretty much being an injury prevention days where I do rotator cuff and stuff like that I packed on some decent muscle mass but the thing is that when I started I had high bodyfat and have barely done any cardio prolly around 20% and I still am I almost didn't lose any fat and my muscle definition sucks and I have a gut.

What i'm wondering is what kind of cardio should I do how much and how long?

I had this elliptical machine in my basement I started using 5 days a week on the morning but it broke down... so should I do some H.I.I.T /watch?v=9I2N2tGffI0&feature=related like 3 times a week? Or will it impair my "Bulking".

Please help i'd really like to get under 15% body fat and have a decent muscle definition as fast as possible...

I really love doing Weightlifting/Bodybuilding I just despise cardio...

First of all dude, If you want to lose body fat. don't bulk. you should do the opposite, which is cutting.

You don't need cardio to lose weight.

But it does help,

What you should be doing is finding out what you're maintenance calories are at. and eat 300-500 cals below that. You are sure to lose weight even without cardio.
