After searching for over a month, finally bought a power rack to complete my home gym!

Found it on craigslist, a Nautilus NT1200 power rack with lat pull down. Almost bought a used Parabody 843 and a new Powertec but both times, sellers flaked out.

The NT 1200 seems pretty stable. I'm debating putting mats under it. The lat pull down has an Olympic adapter which is nice so I don't need to get standard weights. Might be a good place to store the 45s too.

Any other owners with useful tips or customizations?
Besides using 2 pipes or bars, are there any dip attachments that will work with this rack?
Anyone have an owner's manual? Thanks.

That's pretty nice. I like the pullup bars. Odd the way it slopes toward the back...I guess to make room for the lat hardware up top?

I have this power rack also, I do enjoy it. I'm pretty new to training so don't have many tips for this rack. I use a 3ft bike lock cable to extend the range of the upper cable attachment to add some exercises. I added Olympic size sleeves to the lat machine also. I have a Body Solid Calf Block which works great on the side of the rack (minus the squat platform) and I can lean against the safety bar for balance. I have two 1/2in thick 4x6ft heavy rubber mats beneath the rack that fit very nicely and feel great, together the mats are just wide enough for the rack and extend far enough in front to give plenty of work space.

I would like to add a dip station as well but haven't found one yet.

I agree.

Gets the pull up bar higher, and clears the lat in the back.

Other than that, it actually does look a lot like a Parabody 843.

I can't see the pic at the moment, but as far as power rack training goes. Take some time to write down the bar and pin settings for each exercise you are likely to do. Saves a lot of time.

I actually have my rack marked for each exercise with grease pencil

I've been thinking about doing something similar on mine, but I was going to use small colour coded labels/stickers.

My last power rack was numbered up, but I haven't done it on this one yet. I've just got to make a decision on how to mark it.

Dry erase marker works too.

What do the nt1200 go for nowdays? I'm looking at one on craigslist that has the rack, high low pulleys and 400lbs of weights and 4 bars (curl and tricepts and extra olympic) for $900. I'm also looking at a tuff stuff cage/rack with the high/low pulleys and a Golds gym rack with high low pulleys and smith machine built in. All these are liosted for $900-1000. Are these reasonable? and any experience with one brand over the others?
