Hey ladies...

I know this sounds unusual...but lately I've literally been going into major states of rage after I'm done with my routine. The term "Queen Bitch" doesn't even come close to describing my attitude. I get so mean (I feel totally  psychotic)...then about and hour later I'm back to my normal self.

I seriously don't know where this rage is coming from...or what could possibly be causing it? :(

Does anyone else have this "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" post workout rage syndrome...or am I the only one?!

Any ideas why this is happening to me???

I'm only like that if I skip a meal. ;)

I am a guy, so pardon me for butting in. Some guys have the same problem--although it is more of an aggressive mood than a rage. I always thought it was because the hormones get stimulated during the workout. The best solution I have come up with is acknowledging the problem and learning to keep my mouth shut for an hour. ;) I hope that helps.

Sorry...I welcome everyone's opinion...guys and gals alike! ;)

YES!!! EXACTLY!!! It's a mean aggressive attitude I experience! Like I want to literally rip someone's head off! LOL!

So you think it may be hormone related?

That is my guess. I read that after a workout, your HGH and other hormone levels are stimulated. Until I saw your post, I thought the main contributor was boosted testosterone . . . but I have now changed my mind, since I do not think that would be a problem for you. ;)

(I still think it has something to do with one or more hormones, though.)

I don't feel so much rage as I feel hyper!

It's especially bad on Saturday mornings after my kickboxing class. When I'm done, I go home and walk into my sister's room to chit chat and usually run my mouth at about 550 words per minute without coming up for air while I'm moving from side to side.......she gets so disgusted with me because she says in the minute that I'd spent in her room I'd managed to suck the energy right out of her and she probably needs to go back to sleep for another eight hours to recover from me.

The last time I did that she had this horrified look on her face and I could tell she had totally tuned me out....we laughed for about 30 minutes after that!

I'm wearing tape next time!

Hey Lizzee, it appears that your sister needs to take up kickboxing. ;)

...that would mean she'd have to wake up at 9:30am on a Saturday morning. There's a better chance that a meteor the size of Mars is headed straight for earth than my lazy sister waking up for a kickboxing class at that time!

But I really do love going in there and waking her up every weekend....she says it's mean!

I LOVE IT!!! :)
