Ok, So I been on this campaign to get fit and sculpt my body, I goto the gym 4x a week and Im not seeing the progress im looking for.

I weight 180lbs and im about 5'9" ( 23 yrs ) and I found out my calorie intake is roughly 3200 and im 27.2 lbs over-weight.

So I got some guidance from some coo ppl on here that told me to cut back about 300 - 500 calories to lose weight, so I have. Not to mention I live on a difficult schedule I work a physical job from 3pm -12pm and from there I goto the gym at 1am and work out for a hour and a half, go home and sleep.

What I eat in a day:
--------------------

Morning Meal: ( 11qm )
1 cup of Oats - 461 cal
1 cup of water
3 Banana's - 306 cal

Lunch Meal: ( 5pm )
Turkey Sandwich ( Nothing but turkey on hero bread )
Hero Bread - 200 cal
2 bananas - 210 cal

So like I was sayin' I be goin' hard in the gym sweat and all, but im not seeing anything if not me jus getting a little bulkier, is this because im not consuming nearly as much calories as I need to?

Also I've never done the treadmill before, I prefer to run, but because of the weather im considering it, I jus want to know if it is really effective or not? And if so should I run before I lift? Any help would be appreciated, I have until June to reach my goal, I know its possible just got to get it right!

Thanks in advance to whoever responds,
DBLK

I'm having a similar problem. Im stuck at 215 and I'm trying to cut to 200. I'm eating healthy, low calories. I also run and swim, while lifting 4days a week.

if you guys are stuck at a certain weight, try a refeed day.

refeed days can help restore glycogen levels (correct me if im wrong) and help burn fat. It may result in a weight gain that particular week, but will help you restore those levels, then continue to burn fat.
