This is mostly just for me to keep myself accountable with my workouts, and to have a record of each workout and how I felt.

SS Day 1 - Tues Jan 10 2012

Squats
135x3x5

Press
55x3x5

Deadlift
135x1x5

Squats felt good, got good stretches, went deep. Press was easy. Deadlift easy. Planning on 10 lb jumps in squat till 185, 5 pound jumps in press and bench press, 15lb jumps in deadlift.

I think my form on squats was a bit sub par today, as my lower back was really tender afterwards (not sharp pains or anything, just uncomfortable). I went deep, below parallel for all reps, but I think my lower back may have been rounding when I started going past parallel. (I'm doing low bar squats as Rip teaches in his book).

Press was easy.

Deadlift was easy.

Only had about 40 minutes for this workouts, so I had to hurry up my rest periods. Squats still made me a little tender, but I think my form was better today. Bench wasn't too bad. Power Cleans still easy

Squats were very heavy. I'm giong to start going up by 5's. Press was very easy. Deadlift was easy. Happy I increased my chinups to failure by 1 or each set.

Had to take some time off due to a bad stomach bug. Better now. Redid my last work.
