This mother****ing lag is giving me such a fuking headache. I wasted 60 fuking dollars and wasted my life waiting in line for this POS game. I can't play a fuking map without it lagging several times and costing me kills plus I keep getting knifed and killed.

I'm so mad. ****. Constant fuking lag, constant frame right drop, constant "LOST CONNECTION TO HOST", constant "game lobby closed", constant server issues. FUK!! Then when i ask those cheek kunts with a mic if its lagging for them too they don't reply! WHAT THE **** DO YOU HAVE A MIC FOR IDIOTS? 1 guy had the ****ing courtesy to answer me out of 6 maps and told me its lagging a little bit for him too.

I busted out a 50 foot ethernet cable and switched to a wired connection so now I have 4 bars instead of 3.. PS3 wifi connection said 100% signal so I don't know why I was only a 3 bar.

I pop in MW2 and its literally full of hackers who are jumping 200 feet in the air quick scoping noob tubing. No lag but in the middle of every map it closes.

I need a tylenol. FUCCCCCCCCCCCCKK.

If I could sue IW I would.

How is it lagging? I thought CoD finally started using dedicated servers in MW3? Could be a number of things: game lagging, server problems, your connection or PS3, dunno. But yeah, you shouldn't need max signal strength to play a game on WIFI, most WIFI can (at max) transmit waaaaaaay more data than games need. Sorry for your frustrations OP, but there's a reason why I stopped CoD and went to Battlefield (went from Blackops to BC2, now playing BF3 and loving it). But hey, if you don't like other shooters and prefer CoD I guess you just gotta find a way to fix the problem or deal with it? (or don't play?) I know it's lost money, but as I remember thinking when I gave up on CoD and switched to Battlefield "It's okay to cut my losses, I don't wanna waste more money and time just because I've invested some into it already."

I wish that were the case for PC, it ran FLAWLESSLY with dedicated servers. It seems almost everyone has moved over to MW3. IMO BO is a far superior game.

MW3 campaign was very bland. The only good level was the one in the airplane. It was pretty fresh and engaging. The rest are just GO HERE, FOLLOW THIS GUY.

MW2 had better story telling, good characters and i really enjoyed those pre-mission cutscenes, clever dialogue etc.

BO campaign is better simply because its treading new ground. Re-imagined cold war, great stuff. It had me interested from beginnign to end.

My brothers play that crap and claimed MW3 was different and they fixed everything, LULZ were had when I saw the same crap happening last weekend. Not having any issues at all since drop date. Matter of fact, the Christmas crew has made my weekend. My group is on a 35+ game winning streak, and not even close games either. Full out 200 - 40 blow outs. Had one game last night that was 200 - 1

Its freezing/ spiking and jumpy.. I'll be sprinting and it will freeze, jump 15 feet ahead then all of a sudden I'm facing a wall.. I'll see someone, dump a clip into him while its jumpy and all of a sudden it shows a killcam of me running right passed him and kills me in 3 shots.

Wasn't really fan of the multiplayer on BO but I loved the campaign.. MW3 campaign was short and easy but the final mission was kind of cool. MW2 had an intense campaign that I liked.

I own both, I am not a cheap poor bastard. I have a 7.1 Onkyo Surround and a nice entertainment center in a dedicated personal man cave.. I only have Xbox for forza games.. I would definitely pick xbox over PS3 all day for online multiplayer but really only 1 friend has Xbox live and doesn't even play. Everyone has PS3 that I know

I'm definitely switching off MW3 now and I'm going to get BF3 and see how I like it.. The last EA FPS games I've played were Medal of Honor waaaaay back in the day on PC and Battlefield 1942..

MW2 was good because it brought something new to the table, at the expense of people exploiting the game (OMA noob tubes, quick scope, various hacks, etc)

COD: BO was fine imo, spawning and lag was a little weird but guns were overall balanced (felt like i could use other guns and still keep up)

MW3: Havent played it but ide assume its like what anyone else said, dont see how you can really improve. contemplating on wether i should pick it up for 45$

i play online with my xbox and very rarely get lag, my internet is pretty quick though, my cousin has a ps3 and the whole thing just seems way laggier, not sure why but every single time i have played at his house it was always laggy.

problem is that you're playing on PS3 (srs). black ops had the same problem on the early days if you remember, PS3s cant handle all the stat tracking which is going on for some reason. PS3 has been ****e for cod since all the detailed stats & leaderboards have been used. either wait for patches or get an xbox

(not biased opinion, had both systems for a while, sold PS3 because it never got used, 360 is much better for gaming)

lol u mad? PS3 is garbage for CoD, especially if all you have is a cable connection. My connection is totally inconsistent. I'm either winning every game of FFA or struggling to break even. It's all dependent on the host. What makes things worse in this game is the host changes. So the host might be some dumb kid on a wireless with his 3 brothers and sisters and slutty mom all on others computers at the same time. There's been games where I'm a good .5 seconds behind. It's also worse because now the two cities around me have FIOS. It's so obvious who's got it since you're dead before you see them.

For some reason, my connection to Xbox is even worse. My K/D on PS3 for BO was 1.7, on Xbox it was 1.2. Also to show it's the stat tracking, my K/D for MW2 is 2.1 and MW3 is 1.3. Each CoD it goes down as they put more tracking crap in the game. I'm actually pretty pissed about this because I have most of the winter off and have nothing better to do but lift, ski, and play CoD.

LMAO Blacks ops was terrible, Tons of snow maps, and all the same b.s. as in every COD but graphics, talk about terrible. The only good thing about black ops was zombies, lmao at the people who actually enjoyed multiplayer. MW2 use to be the best before boosting and hackers, and i love how everyone suggest BF3, just because you don't like mw3 doesn't mean you'll like bf3. game gets really repetitive and takes forever to level up after you reach the mid 20s which would be why i sold it after 3 weeks... .and spawning miles away just to die and wait to spawn again really isn't fun. and as for MW3 there servers are better than black ops.
