but seriously drew brees is a great player. but he has just as many or more weapons then any offense in nfl history, they play in a dome, sean payton is an offensive/pass happy genius....you can't really fault brees for having so much working in his favor. I guess. After these past few years I can't imagine how someone can think otherwise. Only Brady comes close IMO. Then the likes of Montana, Manning, Marino, Elway, Young. Rodgers has great potential but is fairly new. Brees has played better in past seasons than Rodgers has this year IMO. I don't paymuch attention to INTs because half the time its not the fault of the QB. That applies to all QBs.

This. Not sure how people can try to compare different era's when you're playing with completely different rules. The league has become so QB-friendly that you've got like 3 QB's on the verge of breaking the same record record after 27 years. Its never been as much of a "chuck and duck" league as it is now.

I would argue this too. Today more than ever the QB is favored. In the 90s you had RBs able to lead teams because the game was more balanced between the QB and RB. Now it's all about the QB. The best RBs aren't even making the playoffs anymore.
